I'm not sure if you have found an answer, I have had daily constant 24/7 head pressure for about a year plus with brain fog and fatigue. For about two times a week for 18 weeks I have been going to the chiropractor but what you may want to consider is also while doing the chiropractor you should go to a massage therapist to work on your neck and at the chiropractor they had a cervical traction machine which stretched my neck. I have experienced improvement, I haven't been going to the massage therapist but if I did that on top of everything else I could possibly experience some great improvements.
Also if this is from weak mitochondrial health which people with chronic fatigue syndrome experience I believe you could try consistently going in a sauna which improves mitochondrial health and improves chronic fatigue syndrome which could possibly help with the head pressure. Also I would cut out sugar, dairy and gluten and eat possibly paleo, to try to help your body recover from whatever is going on.
Just some thoughts but they could really help. Praying for you!

Hi all, I'm just popping on here after reading through this thread last year before I had any relief. I am now sleeping fairly normally and getting through the days feeling 90% better. I never thought it could happen. I was experiencing severe & debilitating head pressure, headaches, nausea, ringing in the ears...you name it. Pain killers didn't touch my pain and after every blood test, allergy test, food test, CT scan, ENT visit (was thinking it was a severe sinus infection), dental visit, trips to the ER out of desperation - I finally read an article online about Cervicogenic headaches. I took a huge stab in the dark and figured that it made sense that my pain could be 'referred' to my head from another part of my body. So while the original source was still 'quiet/unknown', I was feeling everything in my head in terms of pain. I went to the physio who wrote this particular online article that I had read (he also practices chiro so it's more of a combined physio/chiro approach), and he has changed my life for the better over the course of 6 months. Dry needling to my neck + back + shoulders has given me relief from my headaches that I never thought I'd feel again. I still go every 2 weeks for dry needling, back manipulations (cracks to my back); they yank on my legs to realign things that i had no idea were so badly off like my hips and back.
Try to keep your anxiety down, drink tons & tons of water, get off your tech as much as possible (the head forward position is a huge migraine trigger), sleep with only one pillow under your head/sleep on your side/tuck the pillow down towards your shoulder so that that gap is gone between your head and shoulders to support your neck, tuck one pillow between your knees as you lay on your side to help keep your spine alignment straight, try to stop drinking harsh caffeines like Starbucks (cut back to home brew 2 cups max a day), ask someone to massage your neck and shoulders as much as possible (harder pressure is not better, just medium), meditate if you can to breath and decrease stress which makes muscle tension in your back, neck, and shoulders (it took me awhile to willingly meditate but I now think it really helps). Just first & foremost get yourself into see someone like a physio who knows what Cervicogenic headaches are all about. To this day I really don't know if my official diagnosis could be Cervicogenic headaches, but it's the closest match I/my physio can come up with. I do know I wasn't taking care of my body or mind. Whatever was happening with my back/hips/shoulders/neck affected my head in the WORST way possible. I can't imagine going back to those pressure headaches I was having. Sleep was impossible, and now I pop a melatonin to go to sleep instead of taking out library books to read at 2am/get me through a traumatic night of pain.
Thanks for reading, I hope even one of my comments here can help!

Alan,
might be accurate to say i feel your pain. See my post titled "Pressure Headache" and let me now what you think. I've seen 2 neurologists and now taking Baclofen. Helps a bit I guess but not dramatic.
Anybody else out there experiencing something like this?

Hi all,
I'm really sorry but I think maybe some of you have come into contact with HTLV, an immunodeficiency virus that is extremely rare. It can causes neurological symptoms similar to MS in the form of something called HAM/TSP as well as auto-immune conditions (Sjorgens Syndrome). It can be latent for years so you may have been infected years ago and only show symptoms later on. It is a blood-bourne virus and is spread in the same way.
IT IS MORE LIKELY TO BE SOMETHING ELSE THOUGH AS THIS IS EXTREMELY RARE.
It is also endemic to specific countries such as Japan, Africa and Romania and even there the prevalence is ~1% of the population according to most studies.
If you haven't had any contact with needles or people from endemic countries then it is going to be something else.

hello,
i have been getting tightness and pressure in middle of my head for 3 years and it was like someone tied an imaginary stick over my head and is pulling downwards i did not have an sinus problems got mri to see if something was wrong but everything was good but i noticed it increased due to cold weather doctor gave a amitrophiline it worked for a week or so but what really worked for me was put warm or hot towel over my head and my face it relaxed the tightness instantly and other thing that worked was head accupunture so the signs were pointing towards my nose i did ct scan of nose i had a deviated septum so i got operated and the pressure and tightness came down my doctor did not touch anything else except my septum so now after 4 years my pressure and tightness is less but not completely healed but now my nose has tightness n pressure its very less on middle of head so in the begining i never thought it was my sinus but it was my sinus i will try to get my sinus operated again so i have enough space in the air ways n no obstruction my doctor could have done this in the first time but he said he wont touch anything unless necessary i hope it helps and mood swings and life quality does go down so try to be positive try walks it helps too tc

Hi, first i just want to say i am not a doctor and i am just sharing my experience in the hope that it may help. Please do not take this as medical advice, this post may or may not be relevant to everyone but just thought it best to share.
I had similar symptoms more or less as everyone else and ended up in hospital. After a serious night I was diagnosed with psychosis. My understanding of psychosis is where there is too much dopamine in the brain. Feel free to read this up.
I was given anti-psychotic meds that help me sleep along with anti depressants, it's been a really rocky road back but I am on the mend finally.
Again I repeat this is not medical advice, just shared experience.
thanks and good luck.
