I read Probiotics helped with diverticulits, yet article says be careful what the ingredients are , some can do more harm than good......But did not give details. Searching the web for best one for diverticultis they are all over $ 200 per month. Anyone have a suggestion
any one know how effective Cider Vinegar is

A lot of people on her take fybergel me included it helps with your bowels drink lots of water I don't eat anything with seeds or fizzy drinks

Hi for me it is painful cramping, sweats, nausea, tiredness. Some flare ups are worse than others you just need to keep an eye on it in case it becomes diverticulitis. Plenty of fluids, ie water, fruit tea, Bovril anything without fibre then when pain goes introduce fibre back gradually I usually start on eggs and white bread but it's what works for you.

Thank you, Ladies. This is my 2nd flare since May. I haven't had the nausea/vomiting, thankfully. Lots of cramping, hip pain, and low back pain. Finished a round of Augmentin last Wednesday, but the cramping keeps coming back. Not sure when/if to start another round of Augmentin. Called my Doctor yesterday but they have not called back yet. Will continue clear liquids a few more days.
