Problems After Eating

I had my gallbladder removed just over a year ago and I'm still having problems with
eating . I can only tolerate potato and cheese, I have it every day just to survive !!
I'm so weak with not being able eat and it's making me very depressed and panicky.
I never felt like this before surgery . Anyone had their gallbladder removed a while ago and still can't eat much ?What do you eat ? I can't tolerate fat , spicy foods,
veggies go straight through me . I didn't expect to feel like this a year after removal !!

I got the "can't help you" from my GI and the nutritionist years ago for my ibs and again I have to see one on the 30th this month for this horrible constant gas, bloating and nausea that started 7 months after gallbladder out. Most everyone starts having issues right away. Has anyone started having problems months after surgery?

Audrey I had issues right away and then at about 4 months post op
I started to feel better , I could eat a little bit more with no issues,
then for no reason it all went downhill again and it's been that way ever since.
For a short time I had hope that I was on the road to recovery now I'm
back to square one again. So depressing .

Can I relate to you. I originally thought it was my ibs acting up but like you it eased a little and then holy heck broke loose. I cannot believe this was going to happen after gallbladder surgery. So sick and so scared. Nerves are a wreck with the unknown and tests coming up which make me so sick swallowing all the contrasts etc. On top of everythng else I have a uti and I cannot tolerate antibiotics at all. I am begging them to get it through iv but the stress of arguing with doctors and insurance is making me sicker. I just keep hoping I won't wake up each morning. I am praying for your return to health.
