Purpura, anyone?

Hello all,

I am 71 and for the past year I have had fissuring at the posterior end of the 'V'. Two months ago I noticed a small purple spot near the fissure and white coloring near the perineum. After investigating, I concluded I have LS, or at least the beginning. The purple spot (looked like blood pooling under the skin) went away after weeks, but after intercourse another appeared.

My question: Has anyone developed these purple spots (purpura) with LS? I know it can be a symptom, but I have read many posts here and have not seen it mentioned.

    You are in our prayers and try not to worry or "sweat the small stuff." Get your friends around you and ask for their support. They may not know what you need.
