Questions for Hernia sufferers

Posted , 8 users are following.

1) Do most foods cause you severe stomach pain, except, say, cabbage and watermelon? Why would certain alkaline foods be a problem for Hernia sufferers?

2) Did you ever suffer from ectopic beats or diaphragm contractions?

3) Did your earliest symptoms include pain/cramp behind the left ribs perhaps when laughing?

4) Do you get a Chronic cough?

Any help would be much appreciated!

Hi I have just been diagnosed with ectopic beats and have an hiatus hernia. I have suffered with these beats for years and are very uncomfortable but the ecg did not pick them up until now. I have been given medication but it is not really working.

I am having a Barium Swallow at the end of this month for something else. The scan should also show the Hernia

real quick and sometimes real slow like I could put my hand on my neck feel three beats felt like it was stopping an going-best thing to do is take an asprin 81mg every day to keep your blood thin if your not on a blood thinner-if you been to a doctor you should be on xareto or another type to keep your blood thin sso helps prevent Stroke

Afib is palpatations that can make your heart beat fast or slow-the way they found mind after me going to the ER twice a year I went to a Afib Doctor cause it wasn't caused by a heart valve so my heart Doctor said go to the Afib Doctor cause each time I went to the ER it would Stop doing it and they told me nothing was wrong-over 200million people have it in the world-They should do a Caferazation on you to make sure your heart vavles are not causing it an then put you on a blood thinner either asprin or xarelto-

I have an apointment with my Dr tomorrow. I was diagnosed with ventricular tachycardia and ectopic beats about 2 weeks ago after an ECG. Is this the same as Afib or different. I have palpitations every day. I was given beta-blockers but they don't stop the palpitations and my heart beat is not so fast now. I have had this for years but only now the ECG picked them up.

      Thank you
