Racing heart is one of the symptom of anxiety,, do you drink any caffeine? If so stop or cut back, caffeine fuel a anxiety which leads to racing heart.. Ive had this happen to me and when I eliminate caffeine the heart racing being to stabilizes.

I tend to stay away from caffeine . But I do eat lots of sugary stuff like chocolate etc

My doctor told me until my meds started to work adding more protein and vegetable and eliminating the caffeine would help with the anxiety.

Sugar increases the heart rate too.  Consider going sugar free for a few days , eat fresh food, fruit and see if things improve.

I always wake up like that feel like i can't breathe heart feels like its pounding. I have so much health anxiety i feel like I'm gonna die . Its a horrible feeling been like this for almost all my life I'm now 50 it feels like it got worse i turned 40 and started menopause. And plus my dad died of lung cancer so i got really bad health anxiety and i also had a very bad tour bus accident that injured my back and had surgery and my neck and knees so i have a fear of crashing when i go anywhere.

I randomly woke up in the middle of the night and my heart was racing and idk why and that scared me so much. It eventually went away but now that I woke up this morning right away my heart started pounding without even giving me time or think or fully wake up... I hate this so much
