Radio Check, over?

I have not received a notification of any post for 4 days, and I don't see any new ones when I log on.

Has the party moved elsewhere?

Do I have bad breath?

Am I in exile?

Is this a result of BREXIT?

Is there a miraculous cure of which I am unaware?

😃

I'm happy to slang men's attire, too. My pet hate is seeing a well tailored jacket topped by an open necked shirt If I were their tailor I'd strangle them with a tape measure at their next fitting.

Better stop here or someone will be complaining that his is a PMR not a political forum.

Look what you have started now Danrower 😃. I have missed the news for a few days now. Does anyone know if the comedian in the x R country got into power ? It may be better for our health if we follow him.

Am I correct in thinking you had an interesting photo of yourself on the previous version of this site, Flutterbie? It always brought a smile to my face. I miss seeing it.

That will test my memory. Perhaps they're no longer on the forum.

What was the image? I used to have a picture - the site had automatically captured it from my computer but with more security in the new version of the site you have to add it yourself and when I tried it seemed too complicated so I didn't bother, which may be what happened to the person who had the profile pic you remember so fondly.

I remember that they had dressed up and I'm fairly certain they were in Australia! Perhaps my memory is wrong.

I suppose you could try to post a question, but probably have to dress the question up in a way which made it relevant to PMR/GCA. Wonder how that could be done?

Thank you, Anhaga. It's alright I'll just leave it. Another change to the forum!! I thought I'd done something to my computer!

I see the little default head changed overnight! Must try harder to get something more interesting as my avatar pic....

So what brought a coloured background back? What was the matter with leaving it pale green as it was and never messing everything up in the first place? Which has lost loads of users and irritated the h££ out of the rest of us? Change for change sake ...

I think what confused me was the fact that I had opened some posts and suddenly it changed colour !!

    • Posted

At least the green was soothing and a colour found in nature.

All I have is pale grey. Is that what you mean? Thankfully "report" is now dark grey.

    • Posted

Yes - I perceive it as a bluegrey which is easier on the eye than the bright white but the green was far preferable.

But report is now the same as the text - it won't be long before people claim they don't notice it like they do on HU!

And we still can't delete individual notifications ...

      Does anyone else care?

Does Alan have an in to the saboteurs?

Have users of other forums complained?

    • Posted

      Nor edit them.

I can see that it's not a good idea to allow us to re-write history so to speak but it's so annoying to press Post Reply only to remember something else we would like to have put in.

      Must remember to slow down!

      PS

See what I mean! Could we just have a limited grace... say five minutes.. to allow for corrections and omissions?

He has pointed out to them repeatedly that the forum is losing followers and that the problems should be prioritised. Probably Tory MPs running it who don't know what the word means ...

See we are still in the USA too 😉

I follow a few of the other forums and although they were always much less active than PMR/GCA there's been hardly anything at all. Sometimes someone posts a question and there is a short flurry of replies and then silence again.
