Raised bump on side of Urethra (Meatus)

I've had this raised bump on the side of my meatus for around 2 months now. I first noticed it a couple days after unprotected sex. It stings a little when having sex or masterbation and becomes slightly swollen/inflamed. I went to my GP and I had urine tests done which came back negative, my GP also inspected it and said that it was nothing to be concerned about. I don't want to have to deal with this forever and I'm not convinced that it is nothing to worry about since it is stinging when I use it. I've seen some similar cases on here but not many answers, I am reluctant to go back to my GP after he told me it was nothing, can anyone shine any light on this for me?

    i really hate to hate to have to be the one to do this but their is alot of us who present with the same bump on the left side of the meatus ik mine also cane with post urinary dribble , burning , testicle pain , and pain in my anus from time to time all the symptoms come and go and of course ive been tested for everything including herpes and it all came back negative ive been reading these forums for a while and their are many people who did much more test scope in urethra swabs seeing specialist and they all say that nothing comes back and were fine ive been dealing with this for two years still no cure or even cause to be found like most other people here im only really here to say that none of us really know whats going on not even doctors maybe its something knew but also from what ive read it doesnt seem to do anything to females and we all got it after oral sex so with that being said i would stop waisting time and money on this , stressing and try to figure out what best can alive your discomfort im currently starting a new relationship i dont think this will cause symptoms in my girlfriend but if it does ill let you giys know because ik its been the main thing stopping me from dating but yeah it doesnt really go away and we dont know what it is to treat it so you kinda just gotta except it and move on with your life this stuff sucks

    I have exactly the same raised veins things near the meatus. Went to many doctors, tested many times, all negative. Except I additionally had one slightly bigger bump which was diminished by cryotherapy, but the buldged veins the urologists said they are normal. My penis had been very sensitive to touch in the first few months, now the sensitivity subcides but the raised bump remained.

    Also tried antibiotics, antifungal, nothing works. Besides the bump my glans are also repeatly getting dry.

    For those who think it might be herpes, I would definitely doubt that. Me tested 4 times by blood for herpes, negative. And a swap for herpes, negative. Also consulted a quite famous expert in HSV research field, told my symptoms don't match herpes. So it's not.
