Really have had enough

well finally trying to drop back to 20mg citalopram , been on 30mg and still "out of it" , bad  anxiety , intrusive thoughts  , tingling and shakes 24/7 .

still taking 15mg mirtazapine at night , just taken my first 20mg dose, yesterday morning was 30mg .

really feel like giving up and doing something stupid .

im just about at the end of my tether . Feel like I want to end it all .

    what are you taking the cit and mirt for, depression or anxiety?

      I was suffering really badly in january , i was put on all sorts , sertraline , trazadone , allsorts , my anxiety and depression finally settled on 20mg , i got lots better then had a blip , i was put up to 30mg citalopram but wasnt sleeping , i got 15mg mirtazipine added and started sleeping again i settled quite well on 30mg then after a small episode of anxiety one gp put my cit up to 40mg it was awful so i dropped to 30mg and didnt improve so on advise of others on here went back to 20mg cit two days ago still taking mirtazipine 15mg at night , im still suffering with anxiety but feel desperate that im not ever shutting off or relaxing . What makes it worse was i had a short spell on 20mg cit and 15mg mirt when i feld good x

    how are you feeling today? Hope the 20mg of cit will settle you and you can start managing this better.Its so difficult being so sensitised and this makes you alert to every rapid heartbeat or ache twinge etc.Gradually the Meds will work and you will start feeling better and interested in daily life again. Trust me at was at a very low ebb too but eventually I felt better and now in a position to help others. Hang in there .Thinking of you xx
