Hi all iv recently been diagnosed with Fibro although I have suffered many years now that I have a diagnoses I suddenly feel completely overwhelmed with everything. I have 5 children and my husband is supportive where he can be. I'm really struggling with things I can no longer manage as I have always been so independent the thought of having a carer coming in to do my jobs really upsets me. Does anyone else feel this way??

Hi, I know just how you are felling, for many years I have had ongoing health problems, now I have a diagnosis I somehow feel much worse. The thought of being stuck with this condition feels me with dread, in a way I am lucky I am now retired from work no longer have child care to think about and have a very caring partner, but I miss my old me very much. My great love in life is to dance not sure at this point if I will ever dance again, but I do lif in the hope that I will😊❤️

Oh that's awful I was a keen dancer once upon a time, and now even a little dance with the kids leaves me in bed for a day suffering, I wouldn't wish this illness on anyone. I still have a lot of years to see through with my children it just makes me so depressed that I can't enjoy it properly sad

Hi, we can hope for a long remission, it does happen, I know a 40 year old she has had Fibro since she was a young girl, she tells me that she is much better now than she has been in years, she still has bad days but more good. So you see their is hope😊

I think it would be a Blessing if you could have someone come in to help you

with 5kids and all the responsibilities that takes. However if you just rest between

what you are doing-u will finally get the task done. After my exercise,I rest, after shower I rest. And it may only be 10/15 minutes but it makes a difference. And

Days when fatique overtakes me.I just let it take over/these are the Days you call someone to Help you.
