I was in tears reading everyone's situation .this is the most painful and debilitating situation ever ! Would like to.hear some stories on what happens after manipulation , I plan on only taking off work 3 days after . I am a mammographer . I suffer through my 12 hr days ! I am praying I will be on my way to recovery after  4 days !!

I have only been dealing with this bizarre nightmare for 6 months and have scheduled MUA on 9/30. I'm very nervous and can't imagine it being any worse as the nights I am having now.

      Dear Tracy

i feel your pain , went in fir a clean out and a spur to be removed , all went well , was to be out of work only 4-5 weeks . loved my surgeon .. but was cleared to re cover our of town so had my Physical therapy Done there .. simple you would think ?? it caused me to get Frozen shoulder so bad I to suffered horrendous pain !!!!! the PT wrenched out my shoulder so bad on the first session , i couldnt move my arm . it was immediate i had to pack my suitcases a d fly home early .

long story short after 6 weeks of seeing my surgeon test MRIs in a lot of pain I finally had to go for the second surgery and now I’m back healing again it does take a while but it is worth it stay strong just do everything they tell you to do it’s well worth the pain that you’re going through now there’s days that you can’t imagine how to get through the pain you’re going through now but once it’s all done you’ll feel much ..

I had the same thing more or less. I had to have a bone spur removed in my right shoulder and also had a small rotator cuff tear. I had my surgery on a Friday and couldn't start physical therapy till Monday. Monday when I went to physical therapy I could tell my shoulder wasn't right and was getting stiff. I did my physical therapy and it didn't work. I had to go back in for a manipulation. Even to this day after the manipulation and being in physical therapy for almost a year I still have a partial frozen shoulder. And there are other issues with my shoulder but doctors can't seem to find the problem. I tell you after all this I am sick of doctors.

I had frozen shoulder surgery two weeks ago I am still in a lot of pain, and I can’t lift my arm any further than I could before .I’m really worried the surgery didn’t do a thing. I don’t wanna take too many pain pills at night but I cannot sleep, i have muscle relaxers I can take during the day plus Advil it takes the edge off but it’s still constant pain. I am very discouraged and I don’t know what to do next?*

I feel that way also. Been taking motrin cause tylenol does nothing. Been doing my stretches and feel like it moves different but the pain from the scope is awful.

      Hang in there

I just had surgery last thursday-this is Sunday. i couldnt take the pain medication they gave me because it had codene in it and i told them that makes me sick. i took it 1 day and couldnt do it anymore. i had the manipulation done and also a scope-so i have 3 holes which itch cause I told them no tape, removed as soon ad i got home.

I still feel tired and have been eating and drinking and doing stretches.

Anyone else feel this way? Will be so glad when this recovery is over-3-4 weeks

just just had a manipulation under anesthesia on my right shoulder. the orthopedic surgeon said I'll be out of work for a week although I'm not sure about that because I do a lot of heavy lifting in my job and I don't think I'm going to have the strength to do it after this procedure.the anesthesiologist did a nerve block which helped the great deal with pain, but it's starting to wear off and I have the pins and needles pain times* 100 in my arm and shoulder. I have to do therapy every day for two weeks and then every other day for 2 weeks . I have been suffering with this for three years now I kept putting it off and putting it off until it got so bad I couldn't handle it and when we did the MRI not only did I have adhesion capsulitis I also had a frayed rotator cuff so yeah that's that's my journey so far I'll keep you updated on what I find out for anyone who may be thinking of having a manipulation under anesthesia for frozen shoulder
