Red palms and other signs

Hello everyone.... I have been having a number of symptoms for a while now and now I'm thinking it may be possible i have a liver problem.
About 4 days ago my both of my hands felt sore while driving. Later that night while washing my face I noticed the outside of my hands on the side had redness so I turned them over and noticed they both palms were red. Under my thumb, little ringer and at the pads under each finger. The redness is also on some of my actual fingers. I went on Google images and typed on red rash on palms and from the photos I seen what I had was called Palmer erythema. I had a dermatologist appt the next day for a cyst on my back and showed him my hands. He confirmed it's what it is. I also pointed out to him some other skin issues that had recently popped up. He said I had spider nevi, something that begins with a T but is all these little veins around my nose, under it and around my mouth and liver spots. I forgot to show him my nails but I wanted him to look at them. He said I needed to go to my primary for some blood work. I have an appt but went on line to look up causes of the skin issues and liver problems is all that keeps popping up and the list of symptoms in addition to the skin ones are symptoms I have been having lately.
I had basic labs start of May which included some kind of liver function test cause I recall my Dr telling me my kidneys and liver were good from the blood work. I also had a ct scan of my abdomen w/o contrast for a mass he thought he felt. The report says my liver looks okay other then being enlarged by 20cm which he thinks is something called Riedels lobe and nothing to worry about. The report also says the lack of contrast limits pathology in the solid organs which the liver is one of them. I am not even sure you can see liver disease with a ct scan anyways.
So here I am worrying over my liver now anyone have any advice?

I too have been having these same symptoms. Started over a year ago with extreme fatigue. I mean severe. Taking a shower felt like I had done a 4 hour workout. Went to the doctor and they said my liver enzymes we elevated and had me do and ultrasound. It came back that I had a fatty liver. Over the course of the past year I have been to several doctors for fatigue, I would stop mid-sentence because I forgot what I was saying, I was slurring my speech, I would forget things ALOT. Also I have night sweats a lot. Even during the day. Get bruises all the time. Finally no one could figure it out so I was sent to a rheumatologist and she said I has chronic fatigue syndrome because I have had fatigue over 6 months. She did more labs and said that my liver enzymes were even more elevated so she referred me to a gastro doctor and had another ultrasound done that says "Pancreas mildly echodense. Liver markedly echodense also enlarged 17.8 cm. Adjacent to the gallbladder is an area that appears to be focal fatty sparing. Hepatic arteries cannot be visualized due to the echodensity. Venous flow appropriate. Bile duct 4.8 mm. Portal vein and IVC unremarkable. Gallbladder shows sludge. Pancreas echodense. Right kidney 11.2 cm without an acute finding". I called the doctor and said all that has happened within a year and they are telling me everything is normal that I just have a fatty liver but they would send me for a CT scan which I have on Tues. I have been told over a year that all my symptoms were from chronic fatigue syndrome but now I think it is from my liver. I do not drink anymore and don't take any meds that I don't have to but yet my liver enzymes keep getting higher. I just don't understand.

Careful1 my god all your symptoms could litterally be me. Did you ever find out anything? I have NASH (non alcoholic stathosis) wich is like the next step after Fatty liver, I changed my diet and had some improvement but still red palms and the fatigue is killing me.
Im seeing my specialist again but he dismissed me, i'm very curious if you ever found the cause of your problem and got a proper dx...

Hello Careful1 It sounds like your issue is not solved other than learning you have Nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD). There are many other things to consider, I've included a wealth of information below and the best part is, you do not need a doctor to learn about these things and make some changes that may start you back to feeling well!
I also noticed that You are getting replies from UK patients. Unfortunately the US medical system and UK system are vastly different! UK is socialized medicine and the US is insurance industry driven medicine. US Dr.s fight with you over treatments and test BECAUSE the insurance won't pay them if they do certain things without adequate justification. Offer to self pay and ask if they offer a discount for self pay. Many will because they can skip the hassle of dealing with the insurance co. Mind you, the prices are still high so be aware of your budget.
Please consider the articles I linked below read up on them. Your extreme fatigue sounds like it could be a thyroid issue. Auto immune Hashimoto's thyroid disease (very common in women) and fatty liver are connected. I would suggest asking for a Hashimoto's antibody test. (A standard thyroid test is inconclusive, you can have a "normal range" thyroid hormone test and have Hashimoto's and feel like crap!) Hashimoto's is an autoimmune thyroid disease. you can be thin and have it. Extreme fatigue and pain in limbs are symptoms.

You are not eating well and certainly NOT eating essential nutrients and all your symptoms (including enlarged liver) could be due to malnutrition!
I would also suggest you seriously change your diet. If you have no appetite and can only eat 2 bites, get a blender and puree ALL your food. Make it liquid and drinkable. You will get much more nutrition in this way AND give your digestive system a break. Puree lots of leafy greens (must be organic you do NOT need to add pesticide residue for your poor liver to have to try to process out). Eat good proteins. Puree everything.
Look at including clean grass fed beef hydrolyzed (broken down) collagen protein. A very clean hydrolyzed collagen (grass fed OUTSIDE of US where grass is clean) is Zint (spelled Z!nt). (it is on Amazon) Collagen is the largest and most abundant protein in our body, and is a key building block for everything from the connective tissues of our vital organs, joints, ligaments and tendons, to our hair, nails and the dermis layer of our skin.
* Start researching food as medicine for fatigue and overall pain. Cut out ALL fried foods (terribly taxing on the liver) ** STOP all Tylenol (poison to liver, causes liver issues). Learn meditation for relaxation and pain. Pain is EMOTIONAL and anxiety increases muscle tightness and spasms which increases pain. Stretching and relaxation of body and mind reduces and releases pain. Even acute pain from an injury like a broken bone, dislocated joint or sprain is reduced by relaxing the body and mind.
You must CALM DOWN. (I can't say this enough) ALL symptoms are made worse by anxiety and stress. Stress alone can cause liver issues! Anxiety can cause all over body pain and fatigue. You need to EAT, get nutrients in you (B vitamins are essential for energy and are used by the liver to be able to convert food into what the body uses for metabolism).
Do not be afraid of looking things up. There is a wealth of info on the web. Just be alert to sites that are SELLING services or products because their information will always be slanted to leading you to believe their services and products will cure everything.
Learn about the metabolism. Start educating yourself about metabolic reactions and pathways and how the body produces energy and the liver's function. The liver does many things essential to the metabolism and it also cleanses toxins out of the blood. A toxic liver will be fatty AND cause skin symptoms and body symptoms. The liver is where metabolism starts.
You have no gall bladder anymore, so no bile storage for the liver. That means a weaker bile is squirted into your intestines producing less breakdown of nutrients. Find out what foods should be eaten to help digestion and the body when you do not have a gall bladder. How can you support your body when there is no gallbladder?
Learn how the organs and glands (liver is an organ-gland, it functions as both) work. Understanding the body will help you understand things better. The more understanding you have, the less anxious you will be. Dr.s will never explain how things work or how things are tied together to you, they do not have the time.
The body is miraculous and SEEKS TO HEAL ITSELF ... so what we need to do is learn how to help it do it's job and to get out of it's way. With toxic emotions, toxic foods or chemicals you are exposed to (what is in the soaps you are cleaning with? Are you cooking in teflon coated pans? Are you cooking in aluminum pots or pans? Are you heating things in plastic?) Are you drinking tap water? (contains chlorine and fluoride) Are you drinking soda? Are you drinking sugar free soda with aspartame, neotame (a dealier version of aspartame) or sucralose? (they are poisons!) https://www.globalhealingcenter.com/natural-health/two-of-the-most-dangerous-artificial-sweeteners/
Are you eating gluten? It may too difficult for you body to break down gluten currently and undigested gluten can cause lots symptoms as well as autoimmune reactions. Gluten is in nearly everything not labeled gluten free except whole foods like fruits, vegetables (natural state) and proteins (naked, natural state). Eliminate all gluten for now and see how you feel. Eat naked whole foods, blended and pureed them into a yummy liquid meal.
Do you have silver (amalgam) fillings? They contain mercury. They often produce mercury toxicity which overtaxes the liver. You may need to look at gentle liver detoxifying with something like cilantro and chlorella.
Disease is a state of IMBALANCE in the body and is a way the body is communicating to us that something needs to be changed. Pain is ALSO a BODY COMMUNICATION. It is very possible for you to have an extremely sensitive body that alerts you to things when they are BEGINNING - this is good. (Much better to have a sensitive body that alerts you while things are beginning than after things have progressed!) By adjusting things, but supplementing with things like grass fed dried glandulars (examples; grass fed dried thyroid, grass fed dried beef liver) for the organs and glands you can help everything back into balance and radiant health.
Again.. the MOST important thing you can do RIGHT NOW is to CALM DOWN. Stress, anxiety themselves are root causes for many body dis-functions and diseases. Anxiety causes foggy, messed up brain! Learn meditation and relaxing breathing. Your pain will lessen when you relax and your brain will be much clearer when you are relaxed and less anxious!
Start KNOWING that your body is your partner in getting back to feeling well and radiant health. Listen to it's guidance. And calm down, it is essential to your health and well-being. (You can sip DECAFFEINATED green tea, it contains L-theanine an amino acid that calms the body and sharpens the brain. Do not drink caffeinated green tea, it increases anxiety). You can also purchase L-theanine as a supplement. A good clean version is called "Sun-theanine", it is found in many brands.
I know you can feel well!
