Red patch on penile head
Posted , 18 users are following.
Red spot on the head for 5-6 months.
Does not bring any discomfort (except for psychological).
19, Virgin.
Tried various ointments and antibiotics - didn't help.
The doctor says that this is a vascular spot, but this spot appeared at the age of 19 years, as far as I know it's impossible.

Depends in what country you live. If you are in the UK you can go see a GP or Practice Nurse, they would then refer you on to a specialist if required - usually they would try several forms of medication before doing this.
The other UK services are dedicated Sexual Health Services - in most large town and cities these are Walk-In based services, simply find out where they (search: - NHS - Sexual Health Service / Centre - then the town or city that you can easily travel to or where you live) and go along.
There are also GUM Clinics which are based at Local General Hospitals - for most of these you simply turn up, or again you can search: NHS GUM Clinic - then the name of the GENERAL Hospital nearest to you, or a one you can travel to as smaller GUM's may run specified Clinics at particular times of the Day.
If you want any further help from this Forum it would be best if you start a New discussion and provide as much detail as possible as to how and when the spots first began, and detail any medication you have tried to resolve the issue ......

HI jimmybro.
NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT. Those spots are called frictomicotsas. They are similar to freckles. They appear and disappear and are usually caused by friction from masterbating. Use a mild soap when showering and lots of water based lotion when you masterbate. Masterbating frequently will cause your penis to grow. Masterbating too much, about five times per day, will cause your penis to shrink. crank away!

Has anybody found out what this was? I've had a very similar thing for years, also virgin. No symptoms or anything, just a red spot.

Hi all, it's been four years, the spot hasn't changed in any way, I haven't done anything. One doctor advised me to do radio-wave resurfacing of the spot and circumcision, another told me to monitor it, and a third recommended a biopsy. I decided to monitor. It's most likely Erythroplasia of Querat, a precancerous disease, so something should be done about this spot, but I don't have time because of work.

Also, a year ago a second spot started to appear near this one, but in half a year the second small spot disappeared, while the main one remained.

I also had a dark streak on my nail two months ago. It's either a subnail melanoma or a nevus. I hope it's a nevus. I don't know what the cause of these diseases is, gene mutation, radiation, ecology, or something else. I eat well, eat a lot of fruits and vegetables, exercise, sleep well, lead a healthy lifestyle. I don't understand why I have so many rare diseases at such a young age.

In any case, if your penis spot is growing, hurting or bothering you, consult an oncologist, good luck
