Red slightly raised blotch on glans, had for years, caused by friction potentially?

Has anyone else had something like this? I'm really concerned by it, I've had it for years and due to tight foreskin I masturbate by rubbing my penis on to the lower ab area. I'm wondering if that's what causes it? I can retract the foreskin when flaccid to clean just fine though.

The dryness is much better, no peeling or redness really. I've been taking the advice of not washing every time I go to the loo, just 3 to 4 times daily. The lighting and camera plays a huge part but I'm wondering about the slight whiteness I've highlighted in the photo. Does it look like a form of LS to anyone? The photo lighting isn't the best but it's much clearer to the naked eye. I can barely get it to show up at all on the camera.. What do you think the white streak is?

I feel I've gone off on a tangent lately, the main reason I made this thread is due to a constant red blotch on the glans. I'm very worried about it, it's much more noticeable when I'm in the bath. I've shown the area there, any idea what that is? Does it look like a scar from years of masturbation? I've had that for years, sometimes it's less noticeable but it's always there. It's shiny and slightly raised by barely. I've a doctor but he couldn't really see what I was worried about. In the doc office, the lighting was different so it was hard to see. I'm concerned because i think it's slightly enlarged over the years. Is it just pigmentation?

An update, I've still got the blotch, it's really causing concern now as I'm convinced it's grown over the years and simply isn't going away. I'm incredibly worried it's something sinister. Does anyone else have this? I'm trying to arrange an appointment to get it looked at to help my fears asap

I'm replying to this thread in the hope of helping others. I went to the doctors last month, to see another gp to get a second opinion about my issue. Once again I was dismissed, no referral, no further explanation as to what I have wrong. I had to show pics like I've taken for this very site to try and explain the problem and how it changes. Yet again, through lack of understanding and knowledge, I was dismissed as something not to be worried about. Something that is a waste of time. Does this look like a waste of time? Does this look like nothing? It's changing, and it's getting worse. Whatever it is, it isn't going away. I will be fighting for a referral now, this is something that needs to be looked at asap. I fear that whatever I have is rare, is uncommon for men my age and is dismissed as nothing. 'it can't be. It won't be. It's something else' I want to be referred and checked for penile cancer at this stage, I feel like every doctor I've seen so far has never seen it in person before, and frankly, doesn't know what they're looking at.

Hello guys, I have the same problem too. The mark is also around the same area.
The things we have in common are:
After applying all sorts off cream, it caused the whole gland to irritate and I had to bring it down with other medications and during the whole thing, I kept feeling some aching pain underneath the mark.
To remove the feeling of aching by dropping a few drops of pure extra virgin cold pressed organic Coconut oil on the affected area and during masturbation. It really helps to reduce the redness of the mark.
If anyone here have seen a doctor who can confirm what's going on, please update.

I honestly cannot believe that docs are totally unable to understand the problem behind this kind of situation and always dismiss it like "nothing to worry about". Honestly, in my personal experience, I've seen 10 doctors and just one, in my situation of slight dryness, said something about lichen sclerosus, but was not sure, other 9 that I have nothing.
I'm still waiting for a miracle, cause docs just said to "leave it alone" and wait for a spontaneous healing, but don't know from what disease, if the say that I'm fine. And I hope they're right.
Does the guy of this post understand his problem? Have he found a solution?
In my experience, listening to the experience of other people that I know, and checking online, there are too much people suffering from a kind of balanitis, without understand the REAL PROBLEM, and it's crazy that docs look a those problems like there's nothing.
