Red stringy bits/like tissue in urine

For the past few days I have noticed that I am passing red stringy/tissue like clots in my urine, (I don't know how to describe it) the doc said I had yesterday evening that my urine looked like if been starving myself and she urged me to eat ASAP. but had it checked today was fine. I am not diabetic. I've been to a&e they said I had water infection but went to docs today she said yesterday I have but today I haven't so to stop the antis. I've had my urine sent off to the lab to see if they could grow something? All came back normal. I'm at loss and very worried. Am not sleeping or eating. It's so frustrating because it's not passing every time I go toilet and has not passed on any of the samples I have given. I'm 100% it's not coming From my vagina area I'm not on my period. I have pains going through out my body, I have Gastro symptoms. Lost my appetite dunno if this is stress. I'm always feeling sick.

I know it sounds disgusting but I collected my urine in a plastic cup at home and analysed it myself. The red stuff looks gloopy. My urine is not a weird colour or anything.

I feel like no one is listening to me and doc had passed it off as some virus and that's what I always get told. sad

What do I do?

Oh yeah Lately I've had fbc, liver, kidney, thyroid functions, b12 (low 192), the the standards done all come back normal. And as I said urine sent off to the lab. Don't know if they just tested for infection or other stuff. Came back normal anyhow.

Take the goopy urine to get it analyzed. Make sure it's goopy. If it looks like toilet paper maybe it is

Yesterday I only peed out one lol sorry tmi. Touch wood it won't happen again. Could it be from my period that got into my bladder? I finished 2 days ago.

      Kidney stones?

I've been feeling nauseas. (Which has finally gone today) and I finally feel hungry again. I've been having pains under my ribs but not so much the back the front.

Now that your period is finished is your urine clear

Yes but this was at the end of my period when I had spotting (brown) this blood was bright red and knew it was coming from my pee.

It has stopped now. I've had my urine checked several times for infection since and nothing. Though sometimes it can look cloudy and have loads of white bits in it and then my next pee will be clear. Weird.

Check it out your next period. Maybe you should wonder about whether or not to wear tampons

Is it possible you have kidney stones?  I get stringy red tinted mucous, pain in side under ribs, sometimes in my back and am nauseated when I have them.

Angie, if you suspect kidney stones there are herbal blends to treat that without surgery if you want to go that route. I found STONE FREE from Planetary Herbals. Hang in there!

Exactly what i have . Ive never seen the stringy red mucous before today but Ive had stones.

Nobody has the same symptoms - the doctors were amazed I did not check every box. It took 13 years of begging to figure out why I ALWAYS had UTI's.

      Get a kidney specialist!

I have the same thing. Had a Catscan and they said no stones and no tumors. The Dr will not listen to me... Like your Dr. I know it is from the urethria. I have read lately that aspertaime causes similar problems so I stopped all sugar substitute. But now they are adding it to foods and just calling it 'natural sweetner'. We have to read all labels. Sugar is not good either. Honey needs to be not from the grocery store because commercial brands can add 10% corn syrup, which is very harmful for the body. As I alter my diet I see improvement. Hang in there kiddo.
