Hi Harry, how long were you told to use the medication for? And, obviously, are you still using all of it. Irritation like this can have a number of causes - this is why you have both the antibiotics and the claboderm. Give the medication a few weeks and see what happens from there.

If there is no real improvement after that update this post and we can look at what else it may be. Do yourself a real favour and abstain from sex and masturbation for as long as you can - 3 weeks would be good, 6 or 7 even better. In the mean time I will post general guidance on Penile Hygiene, try to much of this in place as you can ......

Penile Hygiene Regime to Combat Penile Problems

The best approach is not to use ANY SOAP on the Glans - wash with water only EVERY time you have urinated, after sexual arousal, and ejaculation. If you are not circumcised, protect the Glans of your penis every time you take a shower by drawing the foreskin as far forward as you can, then wash everywhere else, thoroughly rinse off all the gels / shampoo and suchlike, then expose your glans wash it with the water only using the inside of your hand, then each time you have washed it you must make sure it is 100% dry immediately afterwards.

After you have put this in place and you still have the situation going on you need to look at what else your penis is coming into contact with on a fairly regular basis.  The likely suspects are:-

    • any chemical compounds such as skin cream / lotions, baby oil, oil based lubes, chemicals inside condoms (e.g. easy-on and spermicides) you need to exclude these one by one to discover the culprit, the easiest approach is to exclude everything to start with, then once things are on the mend, introduce each individual item to discover what has caused this in the first place.
    • if non of these make any difference you need to look to things such as washing powder in which you wash your clothes, and underwear in, in particular.  The simple alternative to washing powder is Liquid Soap Flakes, most sizeable supermarkets stock this in their own brand names - and you use this in your washing machine instead of powders or ANY fabric conditioner type additives.

If all this produces no resolution to what you have, or your condition dramatically worsens, seek medical advice from your regular Doctor - but please note, many do not fully understand the differences between the potential skin conditions you may potentially have.  Therefore, the better course of action may be to see a Dermatologist, or alternatively, go to a Specialist Sexual Health Service and ask to see the duty Urologist.

amazing reply. thanks for that sir.

antibiotics were for 7 days but since they didn't work i was asked to stop and switch to anti allergy tablets (anti histamine ). i have bought 4 brand new underwears too which have been quite a relief. i will carry on what am using and listen to your advice too. hopefully 3 4 weeks time we have some result.

      thanks alot sir again.

    Hi Harry,

I have been dealing with very similar symptoms. Do your spots get dry and flaky if you leave them alone? Or after erection? Please let me know if you find anything that works for you. Also are you circumcised?

      hi

yes i am circumcised and these spots just appeared like 2 weeks ago. When it gets erect the penis really gets red in colour as you can see in photos and no i havent found anything yet. and also no it doesnt get flaky its just those red spots who kind of gets more reddish in colour when erect and are itchy at times too.

if i find something i will let you know.
