Hi my name is Destiney I am 20 I had my left hip replaced when I was 17 I am technically in the same position as you I have had doctors tell me its a mind thing is nerve damage and that there are are problems but not in my hip I have been to pain management I got addicted to pain medication and so now its hard to control the pain with any pain medication just recently my blood work has came back that there was inflammation which they think is caused by an infection they have did MRIs Bone Scans and Xrays everything comes back normal just recently and orthopedic doctor referred me to a hip specialist and I came to fine out that my hip implant was not put in right and that could be causing pain but they are going to run test like take fluid out of my hip to make sure there is no infection since the blood work was abnormal these doctors are giving me hope after 4yrs I honestly stopped trusting doctors they made me feel like I was crazy but to read how many people are going through similar situations makes me feel relieved to know I am not alone though I wish this on no one but the ones going through it can relate these doctors made a total hip replacement sound so wonderful and it ends up being a nightmare I am so sorry you are having to deal with this no one deserves to be in pain everyday or stuck at home I am young and I can't even enjoy hanging out with my friends I know the feeling of being useless but to actually talk about it feels so much better

My heart goes out to you. I had my hip replaced just last year and I'm in pain everyday and I can't even take my dog for a walk. I'm going back to the surgeon to see what is wrong. I'm sorry I ever had it done. I fell and got a mild fracture. I walked around for 8 mos like that less pain than my hip replacement. I'm older but young enough to miss being active. I don't want another surgery. I don't want to stay like this either. I don't have a life anymore! I will pray for you.

Hi I was born with Perthes disease for 50 years I lived with pain but still did some amazing things. I listened to a Uk surgeon and after 50 years of pain I had a hip replacement. BAD MOVE biggest mistake I ever made. Stryker ceramic would I recommend it NO!
