I am feeling the exact same for the past few days ! So anxious, worse than I have felt in months and months.. I've been on 100mg for 4 weeks now and before that 4 weeks on 50mg so 8 weeks in total ... reckon I should be pretty much 100 % by now?? I am hesitating whether ask for a increase...
But I agree maybe give it until week 8 and speak to your doctor about an increase? My doctor told me that 50mg is the starting dosage to get people used to the tablet before increasing but then I have read that some people are on 25 mg so I don't know??

hey all, for those taking 50mg, i was on 50mg at first, but it was not enough to tackle my depression and anxiety, so i have increased to 100mg, which is definitely working better. i still do have some anxiety (in the mornings) and some depression, but i have only been on sertraline for 3 weeks or so, so i'm going to be patient and know that it can take a couple of months to get going properly
as already mentioned in this thread, 50mg is often seen as a starting dose, so at first you might feel better for a while on 50mg (as i did), but then may need to go up in your dose to tackle your depression and anxiety better once the 'honeymoon period' on 50mg has ended (my doctor used this term to me, regarding feeling better when starting on antidepressants but then a few weeks later you don't feel so good again)
75mg or 100mg is not a high dose (especially for fully grown adults), that's just standard so don't be afraid to increase. try not to be disheartened by any new side effects you may experience when increasing, as they should pass once you have adjusted to the increase. you dont have to jump from 50mg to 100mg if you dont want to. you could always go to 75mg for 2-4 weeks, and take it from there.
