Sorry for late reply. To be honest I am still in pain after removal of mesh, but hoping in time the nerves will heal and I will not be in chronic pain. It is 4 months since my third surgery in this area, so time is still what I think is needed to heal. Best of luck, I totally empathise with your pain.

Yes we are in the same position, but I still do not know whether to do third surgery, the succes of mesh removal and triple neurectomy is individual. Tell me please,if you can to do compare on your pain before the mesh removal and after,do you have some relief?,and how much percentage relief you have?

It is hard to tell, but I do have some good days where I am functioning better. So I would have to say I am a little better and am glad I do not have the mesh in my body which could cause more problems later on if it was left in. Mesh can migrate and shrink in your body.

Hello, I do feel better after triple neurectomy, but has taken 9 months and I do dtill have some pain, but not as bad as when the mesh was in.

Unfortunately I have just found out I have bilateral femoral hernias. The one on my right hand side has a bulge and this is causing me pain now. You would not know I had one one the left side as it is completely asymptomatic.

The doctor said I have to have surgery because femoral hernias have a high chance of strangulation because of the small size of its opening it is easy for its contents to get stuck. I am having surgery on the 31st of September. I am not sure if he will do both sides, but the right hand side surgery for sure. This is such bad luck as I was just starting to feel better and started a new physio program. I had to stop this as I do not want the hernia to get worse or incarserate, that would mean emergency surgery.

How are you going? Have you devided to get the mesh out?
