Returning threadworms for years....

HI, I've had treadworms for almost 5 years now! Ive been eating loads of Opex and Mebendazole. I tried the pumpkin seeds and eaten garlic every day for months...I've also gone up to the Hospital for Tropical Diseases In London to see a specialist for the last 8 months....All their treatment has not worked either. It always comes back! My husband or my two children have never had it and we dont have any pets....I keep a very clean house and im so careful with my hygiene...What can i do to get rid of these? Help Please.....Its driving me insane!

Hi. Sorry if you have answered this, but what do you use daily or nightly if youre itchy? Ive just found great relief in sudo crem from the uk. Also they now sell wipes with pyrantel on amazon. Expensive, but great relief if I just cannot take a shower.
Also, collodial silver is suppose to kill eggs. So sometimes i mix collodial silver with sudo crem and use it like spackel down there before bed lol.
Anything you can pass on for relief is greatly appreciated.
Hope you are better.

Hello fellow hosts
I was doing really well up until a few months ago, I've been badly infected almost exactly a year after the first one. (I'm thinking children off school and being dragged round supermarkets, or those I chips I had at the beach, etc)
Anyway I had already purchased some puppy wormer which contains piperazine, but I'd like to try something more natural first. Looking through this thread and some very similar others on this site I found 'Epazote' a mexican herb, which is supposed to have the same properties as piperazine, ie it stops the adults from hooking on and then they are naturally dragged out by your poop. So I have ordered some seeds and I will let you know how it goes.
But also whilst researching epazote I saw a site which said pineapple is effective. I had heard papaya was but pineapple was new to me. Anyway this is interesting because prior to the latest infestation I was having pineapple on a daily basis as part of my smoothie regime. I'd stopped using pineapple a month or so to getting them bad so it ties in time wise.
So whilst my epazote is growing (you can use small plants apparently) I'll be back on my pineapple and I'll let you know if there is any improvement, I'm not taking any ovex so it will be a good test. (Going a bit mad with them again).
Oh and epazote is also a good treatment for tapeworm and hookworm as well as roundworm, so if you've started to think you may have those aswell, like I have, then that's a bonus.
Stay safe folks,
v.x

Just a quick update.
I've been having a small tin of pineapple each day for 3 days now and I have seen a marked improvement already.
I'm also going to get some papaya juice to add to the armoury . Although papaya is more pricey than pineapple so it's good that it works.
It's good that these remedies are very good for your health generally too.
I'd be interested if anyone else could try this and let me know the results so I know it's not just a coincidence .
Cheers.

I've been doing more research on pineapple. It's most likely the bromelain in it that is affecting the worms, so fresh is probably better than tinned.
The heart (the hard bit in the middle has the most bromelain so be sure to eat that. Saying that I buy really cheap tinned stuff which probably contains the heart anyways so maybe that's why tinned stuff is working for me. (There may also be other stuff in it that affects worms anyway??)
WARNING. If you are pregnant then I wouldn't have pineapple, there is a suggestion that bromelain induces labour. Although if the babes head's engaged and you want to be in labour, then it might be a good thing. This may just be speculation but I don't think it's worth taking the risk and defo ask your Doc/Midwife first.
So to summarise get fresh pineapple if you can, or if tinned get the cheap stuff and not the rings.

Hi Guys, im still suffering here and was just hoping someone could offer some advice or anything on how you get on with life and cope when you suffer with this.
Im at the end of my tether with it and am struggling now with my mental health
Any positive outlooks etc..?
i think it would help a lot of us to hear positive things about how others cope.

Thank you Pen35970,.
thats helpful to know and very positive, fingers crossed that keeps them away.
I think im going to try pineapple daily !
I don't eat much sugar but could cut of what i do eat.
I'd be interested to know how and when symptoms manifest in others with this problem as i find mine rather odd and random. In my case I tend to go months with just on and off mucus that comes with an itch then when I'm just feeling that maybe ive been being silly and its all in my head, i get that familiar wriggle down there and find a worm. Then the same will happen again. This time it was a 7 month gap with just symptoms but no worm!? odd??!!

i think this group has more chance of cracking this than any medic! like you one evening you get that sensation and i see just one. Why only one then nothing for a while. Have not taken ovex when just one and no sign of any more. No idea why that happens then go a while with nothing. Will start pineapple too xxxx

Hi there, fresh pineapple better than tinned. Also papaya, papaya seeds, crashed garlic, fresh clove, wormwood and black walnut hulls, these last two i ordered online as couldn't buy in any shop in the UK. Healthy diet with no sugars or fast food and plenty of water. I seem to be expelling loads without taking ovex so that's proving effective for me. Need to be constant as this is not a one-day thing, the colon needs to be cleansed with time. I will let you guys know how it goes next week. Any luck with yours?

Hi Anna, I read you post a few months ago a felt so identified, my case is exactly like yours and this gave me some comfort, as all the articles online that i had read prior were so frustrating, they didn't explain that this can be going on for years, and the reason of reinfection is the ingest of more eggs (personally i am very skeptical about this fact).
They explain the cycle of the worm and the make the deworming procedure sound so simple... this may be the case for the rest of humans but it hasn't worked with me, my hygiene is very good and my husband doesn't have them. I have eaten plenty of pills that work short term as i can see that the worms are expelled but this is not enough for me, i have been battling for more than 6 years, being more noticeable whenever my diet was poorer and when i had some sweets. After some research I have now put together all food that i have read they have cleansing and deworming properties to keep a clean colon, and this way to make it immune and inhospitable for parasites.
For one week i have been taken clove, fresh garlic, papaya and papaya seeds, pinneaple, wormwood and black walnut hull, pumpkin seeds lemon juice with turmeric; and yogurt to protect the good bacteria. I seem to keep expelling worms daily, which is a good sign as opposed to the one-off effect with the pills. I will take a pill in a few days to see the effect of this and i hope not to see any worm. I will continue to eat some of the food mentioned but will stop the wormwood as must be taken carefully and for no more than a week as can have adverse effects.
I am considering to get done a colonic irrigation as well to get rid of any depositions sitting there which help parasits feel comfortable. We must have been excellent hosts!
