Rheumatoid Arthritis - LDL cholesterol

Have any one taken Simvastatin 20 mg? Rheumy has prescribed along with othermedicines like methotrexate 20mg a week,azathioprine(alternative days) salazopyrin twice a day every day, folic tab 5mg everyday,along with calcium and D2.

Can any one tell me about Simvastatin please. Rheumy asked me to take everyday before bed.

    Ann,  had problems with my statins too... just say whats going on there are lots of different statins, some are known to be less problematic especially regarding muscle pain.  I take a statin now which doesnt give me any side effects... goodness knows there are enough from RA.  Just keep on speaking out and getting a statin that doesnt give those pains.  Good luck.  Mine is Rosuvastatin

    Yes, I have taken Simvastatin 20mg for my high cholesterol without any incident or bad side effects. I have taken it with other drugs as well.
