Rotator cuff tear

Hi everyone, today is day 16 after surgery for a torn rotator cuff and im still feeling a lot of discomfort in the shoulder where the arthroscopy was done. To the others of you who had the same op as me....give me your experiences please. It's just a constant dull ache in my shoulder.....seems to feel worse late arvo and evening of course. I have worn a bra yesterday and today and it seems worse these two days.....did anyone else notice that. Still taking Targin and Endone at night to kill the pain so I can sleep. Any feedback would be good. I've come a LONG way since the op and next few days but I was hoping by now the duscomfort would be getting less and it's not. 😘❌❌❌

Hello my lovely. Oh Maude that is fantastic news that your back on your horse, back at work and doing well 😘😄

im 6 weeks post op this week, just coming out of sling, don't wear it at home only put it on to go out really and that's more so people know I have an injury and don't bump me. I'm progressing pretty damn well actually. Start physio tomorrow actually, yipes I know it will be gentle, but I havnt used this shoulder since December. I'm off all meds, thank goodness. I had a horrid awful week of body aches and sweating coming off the morphine, but am pleased to say I survived the week of hell and am know drug free except for the occasional panadol.

So you and I Hun........are heading in the right direction.......never to be back where we were again.....fingers crossed. Well it's 3.30am so I'm going to get some more 💤💤💤💤💤💤.

Great to hear from you Maude.....no longer do I have to send you gentle hugs......so I will send you BIG hugs and kisses and take care 💞😘❌❌❌

Oh Kerri thats great. So lovely to hear you upbeat and positive though what the hell are you doing up at that ungodly hour? lol I know what you mean about `cold turkey` I really can understand how people get addicted with no support. Hope physio wasn`t too painfull and that you will be a good girl and do your homework ;-) Onwards and upwards. xxx
