Rough night tonight

After having a great week since a long talk with the the Gastro doc and feeling much more positive and less afraid and anxious, I've had my vile spasms for a few hours.

I felt it start within 10 mins of eating some chocolate.  It was dark chocolate with nuts in it.

This familiar pain started. The pains in my upper central part of my stomach. Moving to the usual right side right thru my back. It's in waves and takes my breath away. I drank loads of water which helped a bit not much.

I had to take 2 co codomol and soaked in a hot bath.

The tabs kicked in a bit VIT took the edge of the pain.

Lying in bed relaxing but the pain is only minimal at moment.

But the docs say it's not gb related. I think that's rubbish.  Sure it's gb probs like maybe tiny stones moving.

I sure understand that! When I read menus for gall bladder I am aghast: I cannot eat many of the things they recommend - a great many of the foods. I can sometimes eat peanuts, but I have to watch it. Most other nuts off the 'occasionally' list. Milk chocolate only makes me hungry for dark chocolate which isn't beloved by gb - then I discovered the joys of semi-sweet dark: takes care of the yearning without the pain so I have an idea that it is the sweetener at fault. I can eat Milky Way, but not Almond Joy. I love the Whitman Sampler and others, just not every sort. Good thing I have a son who likes what I can't have. White chocolate doesn't bother me anywhere but the wallet. One thing the samplers help with is understanding which combo's you can eat. Another indicator of foods is whether you can stomach either olive oil or lemons. Lemons make me happy, the oil dances a jig. with spikes.
