Never underestimate the power of placebo. Case in point; In 1996 Big Pharma came up with a hair regrowth topically applied drug called minoxidil - better known as Propecia (chemically - finasteride). Nothing new here except that, during clinical trials, some of the men applying an inert, ineffective tincture to their heads - they were in the control group - grew hair.
