scared!

I went to the doctor today after what seemed to be a really bad uti. She examined me and said there was a fluid filled blister. She stabbed it for herpes. I told my bf of 7years and he also went to get checked. He does not have any lesions blisters or sores and says he never has. His md told home i may have had this and never knew. Even if he has no symptoms does it mean he could be infected and passed it on to me? Or does this mean i definitely got this from my previous partner??

Thanks for responses. I am already depressed and it hasn't been confirmed yet. Now we are going back n forth on who infected who. I would hate to be the responsible party. 7+ years is a long time to have something and not know it. A counselor would be great now cause im at my lowest.

Doctors are seriously a**holes they seriously shouldn't be able to say anything untill they have all the results in front of them.

Try not to go on Google it doesn't help it will make things worse for yourself wait untill you have all the results and then u can figure out if it's new or pre existing infection.

It's really not that bad once u understand it, it's just a cold sore keep reminding yourself that!
