Still thinking of you Margeret ,the first time I felt like you I was away from home .It doesn't help when the doctor you trust is away or yourself .Hope things  are calming down for you ?One thing I was advised to do which appeared to help me was to sit quietly or listen to an app of birdsong which 'which I find relaxing relaxing ' and just concentrate on your breathing .Sleep well tonight and tomorrow will be a new day .Remember just go with the flow ,don't fight it relax into these feeling .good luck

thank you carole, after speaking to a few ladies and Eileen i started to calm down, i think i might of overdone it as well as we have been walking at least three miles a day, this is nothing to what i could do and i find it hard to accept that i cannot do what i could, my hubby finds it hard to accept that i cannot do what i could before, but today i am going to try and take everybodys advice and relax.

hope you have a good day today, many thanks

Hi Margeret , I believe the book I read was called ' self help for you and your nerves ' I lent it to a friend ,but Google her and you will see .When I first fealt as you , a friend recomended it to me .I was in my 40s and had been put on a tranquilizer for ten years for face and neck pain , then told to stop taking the tablets over 2 weeks . I then lived a nightmare for a short while and had to go go on antidepresants for2years and I kept that book beside me while I was getting of the tablets it was very helpfull and practicall . Hope your weather is fine today , keep warm Carol

My husband is 70 in May, and dosen`t understand at all!  I have had ME/Fibromyalgia fo 20 yeras....and Polymyalgia for the last 3 years, we had a blow up about it last week, because of what I`m able, or rather not able to do....and boy did I explain it!  I feel better now, and I think the problem is, he`s SO LUCKY not to have had even a cold since he was 15......so I`ve come to the conclusion, you can`t have empathy unless you`ve been there......keep strong, it will ease...I am just grateful for being able to be treated, as in the past I have`nt been!  We all support each other, because we know what it`s like.  That`s my reasoning anyway....Good luck the sun is shining!!...

Yes,  Sometimes we think everyone else`s husband`s are sympathic, doing everything for them etc.....but thats probably a dream world....although some do.  Right now, mine is having a shower to go out later for a drink, which he says is for health!!   I will just appreciate doing whatever I want (which is very little today) and try to go in the garden in the sun for my VIt D......and if he`s lucky...he`ll have a meal waiting for him!.......if I remember how to do it, with yes, like you, my pred brain!!  How do we stay so  patient I wonder sometimes!!
