SCM muscle in Neck

Hello all,

Ive been suffering from dizziness(no spinning) for the last 3 months and Im really starting to think my neck is causing the issues because it is always tired/sore. I think it may be the scm muscle because most of my discomfort comes from the lower part of the head where the neck and head meet. Im just curious about anyone else that has had issues with their neck that caused these symptoms and if you can tell me your experiences with it hand how you fixed the problem.

I have not fixed my issues yet but I think my neck is also the reason. I think the SCM is why I am having issues. If you google SCM mucles issues and trigger points you will learn alot. I am going to a Osteopathic doctor for this. I just started seeing him so I don't have any results yet.

That is just a doctor that does not have an answer. Try a Osteopathic doctor. They are the same as an MD. Or maybe a P/T.

Been like this for 6 yrs. I had an ENT doctor do a VEMP Test. It's very easy to do and it test your middle ear and the muscles in your neck. Find an ENT that can do this test. My ENT said she did not see any reason that the VEMP would show anything and after she told me the left side did not do well and she thought it was because of my neck muscles.

I don't give it power. If you give the unsteady feeling power it will win. I just tell myself that this will not harm me and I need to go about my day. Sometimes I try and trick myself so when I feel this way I will say  " oh I feel spaced out because I did not get enough sleep or I drank a beer " This is how I decribe how I feel like I have not gotten enough sleep or had a beer or 2.

Then it will win. Are you sure you don't have vestibular migraines?
