Seat height post THR

Just wondering whether I'll always need a higher seat on my easy chairs. I'm day 8 postoperative and doing well, but thinking about any possible future needs. I'm only 58 and really don't want to be limited in my choice of furniture. I'm not really tall, but do have long legs and my seat at the moment needs to be 19 inches high. What do you think?

OT meased me i was told not to use any soft cusion or pillows by the OT this is my second hip replacement and im 8 weeks post op also no less than 18 inches from floor and an hard bottom chair as it can cause hip to pop out its supposed to go on your height i was like you didn't want to start buying different furniture OT had this cusion sent to my house before i went home.
i also was sent an air cusion but its an hard one to go in my chair or use it on my own settee you can buy these from an NHS site they sell them cheap but still brand new on the net if you want your own.
i also have a recliner in an other room but was told not to use them raiser chairs as it can throw you out too quick the OT adviced me not to get one of them.
the cusion in question is like those people use in wheel chairs but thicker give your OT a ring they will help you out.least you can move the cusion about from chair to were ever you want to sit so long as you keep to the 90 degree
hope this helps you
