Sertraline and sleepiness

Hi everyone

I've been taking Sertraline for just over 9 weeks, 50mg for just over 7 weeks and 75mg for two weeks.

I had severe side effects when I started, these eased during the first three weeks, slight side effects when I increased. They have mostly gone.

But, I am so sleepy! Not tired, just sleepy and I'm posting to see if others have any comments and experiences about this. Otherwise I feel much better in all ways, just

s l e e p y.

Does it usually get better or is a side effect that stays forever? I'd be grateful to know what others experiences have been - initially and in the mid- longer-term.

    I have been on 50mg since October. Bad side effects which passed after 4 weeks. This week, i’ve Increased to 75mg for a couple of week and then go up to 100. I sleep all night , have breakfast and coffee and sleep again for a couple of hours. Then, I am fine. Thank god i am off fo a month because of an op. I try not to feel guilty and just accept my body is telling me to rest while getting used to this medication. Good night. Lol

    Any symptoms of head feeling heady/headaches?
