Hi all
HELP!!!!!!!! after a few good days I feel like am back to square one! Feel really sick and anxious when I wake up and I don't understand why! Could this be the sertraline? Feel like am going nuts why a good few days then bang its back again.
I have also run out of oxazepam which helps me for the here and now do you think its safe to take diazepam?
I last took oxazepam 2.30 yesterday! Need something to calm me down now but don't want to mix drugs unless its safe

for first six weeks I felt like you say - some days just bearable and other days extremely anxious. Thought I was maybe on wrong tablets. My anxiety was so bad I couldn't go to work and once or twice thought about going to A& E to get myself sectioned.

Just remember this won't last forever, it may only last this morning or the day.
Don't feel you've gone backwards, it's part of it I'm afraid but does get easier.
You should be fine taking a low dose of diazepam with the sertraline. My doctors said I could if I needed to at the beginning.
Have you started taking your 50mg as one now in either the morning or night?

My first 2 weeks were the worst, I had mixed good and bad days and pretty horrible side effects. Weeks 3&4 I felt loads better. My mood dipped again weeks 5&6. Picked up in week 7 and by week 8 I was more or less back to me, living normally and feeling happy!
You'll look back and these initial stages will seem such a long time ago. Just hang on in there, it'll soon pass. Don't feel disappointed. This is totally normal. Just crap for now.
