SEVERE BRAIN FOG WITH BAGGAGE

Hi..I've been suffering with the most atrocious of brain fog/ confusion/ memory loss for over 5 months..But my brain fog is the worst because it comes with daily severe anxiety..huge blood pressure spikes..sudden heart rate spikes in the 130's..lots of dizziness..vertigo episodes..visual disturbances..constant ringing of my ears..nightly awakenings at 4 am and unable to go to sleep again..tremors in left leg..air hunger episodes..severe depression..lots of panic attack daily..and lots others which I can't remember now..I've been to ER twice in last 6 months due to HB pressure spikes (200/130)..each time doctors there said I had panic attacks only..I've been evaluated by three of the most illustrious neurologists in the Las Vegas area but the can't find anything...MRI imaging only shows natural aging changes..no big deal stuff. Endocrinologist found zilch. Sleep study found mild apnea...almost none..All normal stuff. All of them "specialists" say its "anxiety"...or "depression..But in the mean time..I can't think straight..I get lost in my own thoughts..can't think straight..can't sleep..my mind races wildly when try to lay down to sleep...all very scary stuff....I don't have any financial stressors...to cause anxiety or depression...IS THERE ANY HELP FOR ME..?? I'm very scared..I have a young family to live for..but I feel I'm dying inside..very slowly...Any help will be appreciated

I've had similar symptoms on/off for the past 3years. I also have always had stomach issues and lately I started to get intestinal cramps and mouth sores etc I decided to try an elimination diet. The first thing I cut was gluten after doing a lot of research and learning that it can damage your gut and cause numerous problems including anxiety. I've been gluten free for almost 4months now and my energy levels have increased, sleep disturbances are gone, anxiety gone, stomach upset gone as well as numerous other symptoms. I still get lots of episodes of pain and I've noticed it gets worse when I eat foods high in starch. I'm still learning and still figuring it out but I'm defo improving.

I also had 6 sessions of acupuncture and I'm taking pro-biotics

Louis, so sorry to hear about your situation. I suggest you see an Electrophysiologist.

You have many symptoms but I am centering on your heart rate. I am wondering if you have Atrial Fibrillation

The panic from Afib can result in anxiety, spiked blood pressure, dizziness, etc.

The Electrophysiologist may have you wear a holter monitor that will record your heart rate for an extended period of time.

I had Afib for many years with some of the symptoms you describe. I took various medications and finally had a procedure (catheter ablation). I needed a second procedure but, to date, am cured of Afib although I still get less serious heart rhythm disturbances from time to time.

    Good luck.

Maybe you should be tested for Lyme disease. This sounds like me and my symptoms that finally lead to my diagnosis. Maybe it’s not Lyme but it’s just a thought. Good luck.

I have everything that you have listed. I had an MRI on July 26th and was notified on the 28th of this month that I have a tumor on my pituartary gland. I am trying to fo done breathing exercises. I also feel like I am having adrenaline rushes in the middle of the night.
