Severe tingling, burning + pain in both legs

Hi everyone,
I've been having severe tingling and pain in both my legs (toes, feet, calves and knees) for about seven months now. On running a few tests, I found six months ago that I was deficient in vitamins B12 and D, which was set right. The neurologist said my symptoms were due to the deficiency, however, the condition has steadily worsened in spite of the deficiency being rectified.
Here are the tests I've done:
Vitamin B12 and D: Levels stable for the last 4 months
Thyroid: Normal
Sodium, calcium, potassium: Normal
Iron: Normal
Bloodwork, ANA, dsDNA all normal.
Rheumatoid factor negative.
The pain is worse at night and while lying down. The docs have told me I've got Restless Leg Syndrome. I took Pregabalin for about a month and Ropinirole for ten days but both didn't help with the tingling - in fact the side effects were terrible.
I'm not on any medication as of now and the pain + tingling has worsened, now almost constant, like there's electricity shooting up my legs all the time. I'm unable to do anything physically exerting like climbing stairs. Walking makes my feet hurt terribly (which I believe is not the case in RLS?).
Does anyone have suggestions to confirm the diagnosis? Is there something I'm missing? I'm due for an LS MRI, but the docs have said it is most likely to come clear.
Thanks a ton!

I was having some legs jerking some times earlier during sleeping but not now. is this due to RLS ?

Recently, I was speaking to a lady at work and relating the tale how my father had both legs amputated by the time he was 62, due to peripheral artery disease, and she advised me to check it out. Well, the next time I went to my Dr, I told him, so he has sent me to a vascular specialist. The appointment was last week and there is a fairly big difference between the blood flow of my left and right legs and my arms. He is sending me for a cat scan to check out the arteries, etc. This could be one of the reasons for the burning and tingling in my feet and legs and the constant pain in the left calf. I can only walk for about 100 yds before giving up with pain (the pain is like the muscles have twisted, and the whole leg goes into spasm). I also have a bulging disc at L5 / S1 due to spondylolisthesis (L5 has shifted forward on S1), but this seems to be there for years - could have been born with this shift in vertebrae.

Hi shiela
You are from which country ?. how long are u suffering from this legs problem . i had done twice mri of lumbar with mild disc bulging at L4-L5 levels but doctor saying the issue is not much and this numbness/tingling /burning in feets can be anxiety only and wants me to again start anti depressants .
i am frustrated going to different doctors .

hi everyone
I'm new to this forum and turned to it as google is freaking me out when i google my symptoms the worst shows up.
so heres my story!
I'm pretty active, i went for a run outside and felt ok when i got back home. 2 days later my period was due (sorry for the detail) when i started to feel a little tingling in my fingers . my period pains were rather heavy as i also suffer with endometrosis. Coincidentally i had this at the same time this sensation started. I thought the sensation would pass when it started in my toes and then i felt like tiny insects going up my legs to my knees. i felt also drained. The low feeling has passed and my energy is better but my legs feel slightly heavy but not painful and tingling goes and comes. Its weird and worrying me a lot.
i suffer with constant insomnia, anxiety and stress due to personal mattes, a divorce amongst other stressful things.
my iron has been low in the past and so i took a b12 shot and iron infusion this week. my legs still have this mild tingling and drained feeling. i can walk but its the feeling thats remained.
my bloods are all fine bar my platlets being low but that apparently has no impact on this as ive spoken to a hematlogist today.
Can anyone help? im super nervous its sinister. i'm seeing a neurologist on monday but panicking. im hoping it will pass, whilst the tingling has eased as days have passed the feeling is still there.
sorry for my rant!!
