Shakiness and internal tremors

Does anyone gets the shakiness , nervousness all over and internal tremors inside? is this anxiety? Whatever it is its affecting my bowels, my whole body. I'm losing weight and body feel so frail and weak... very malnutrition. This hormone stuff has really taken a toll on me. I have to do something. This just doesn't seem normal to have symptoms daily for almost 2 years now. I can no longer control my body..something must be done!! Yes, I've tried just about everything..I haven't seen a primary dr since July, several hormone specialist last year and the start of this year. Now Im seeing a alternative dr and he says it a the yeast die off , bacteria and parasites that has me feeling this way. I don't know what to believe or do anymore. I am all worn out from this. Is it really an end to this?

I had all of that! I remember getting this weird buzzing electrical feeling in my head usually before a hot flash. I just felt so weird and sick for a couple of years. The good news is that 3 years in I am finally feeling better with just an occasional hot flash and tremor feeling. I believe it is all hormones!! I even had a mini period this month but my Dr said this could happen. For me, I did have to eat really good and cut out sugars and processed food. I would try that if you can and give it a little more time! Hopefully you will be feeling better soon!

    Hi Mary

You describe what im going through very closely.

Will be 2 yrs for me this January that ive lived like this.

    Internal tremors, yep

    anxiety yep

    frail, weak yep yep

    weight loss yep

Its seems like each of us get hit differently and to varying degrees depending on our genes, and our physical constitution. I dont like the fragile feeling of not having energy or enthusiasm to the point of fear and depression, having to just survive each day.

Your right, something needs to be done.

Does your alternative guy have you doing cleanses? You mentioned a 'die off' effect.

I honestly have a hard time believing anyone at this stage. Im all for alternative, and take supplements, tried off n on hrt , the list goes on, but no real results.

Your not alone, its a crazy time to be living through thats for sure. Im always miffed and so are other lady posters here at how I see so many women our age doing fantastic, seriously...out and about, dining, exercising, dating etc.

My immune system is pretty worn out also, and over time now its taking its toll, hence the frailty, palor, apathy, anxiety..you get the picture.

Hi Mauiblue..do you know what caused your weight loss? I am so depressed about how I look, I try to avoid people as much as possible.

Yes he has me doing all sorts of cleanses which only adding to my discomfort. From reading die off symptoms should last only a few days or weeks but mine is a constant daily thing for months now. I think im about to throw in the towel for this... I just want to wake up one morning and be back to my normal self before perimenopause hit me.

      Hi Mary

i also look like crap, and its like i cant change it because its my whole being thats fading away, you know, dying. I hate to say that but it is that.

We are going through so many emotional and physical changes due to this.

I would use caution with the naturpath guy, just my opinion. Ive seen plennnty of them around here as its the fashionable 'new' mind body ' way to treat health.

I dont think we need to be fasting and purging and shredding our insides to 'detox'. There is a lot of good in naturpath dont get me wrong, i love it, the herbs and medicinal plants, etc. but the other stuff makes money you know??

Feel better. At some point we will look in the mirror and say"There you are! Where have you been all this time ive been looking for you?".

      😃

Mauliblue ..you are so right. At least before I went to this so called alternative Dr I was able to maintain my weight now it's like it's gone over board and I can't stop it. If I cant eat this then I can't eat that because of either candida. parasites or hormones or something else. My life feel do out of control ..I feel so weak, Puney, and so depressed. I don't know what to do ..how did i get here

      Mary

I would just go back to basics. Eat as healthy as you can, dont worry about this and that. Its not logical or practical that they would have us doing these things.

Ive learned to be gentle with my system..my gut, my whole body.

Eating less sugar is a good thing ofcourse, eating well, nothing radical. Get some calories back into your body, lots of nourishing soups. (Roots -sweet potato, potatoe, carrot)easy to digest,

Depression/anxiety are the worst symptoms for me in this jourmey, its inexplicable but we will move through it

    Hi Mary,

Yes, I get this too. It wakes me up at night, and the only thing I can do to cope with it is pace around.

Are there times when it's worse for you? Like if you're missing sleep, or if you're fighting an illness?

Hugs to you, and hang in there!!

    Dear Mary,

Every naturopathic doctor on Earth tells us we have candida and we need to do/take X to get the yeast to die off. I've been to 3 and each one told me I had a yeast overgrowth. (I maintain a Paleo diet--but they are sure the sugar I do not eat is feeding the yeast!) I'm not sure if that is what is happening for you; but I am sure that all naturopaths say this. 😃

Anxiety definitely affects all body systems. And the more your digestion is compromised, the fewer nutrients you absorb, the more acute the symptoms can be.

There are some basic B vitamins that help with anxiety and mood. I wake up in terrible despair if I skip my Vit B.

Do you take a supplement? Vit D can also impact mood. My body aches like the flu if I am not getting enough D.

Do the symptoms get worse after coffee/tea? Chocolate? I have found that caffeine at my old levels now makes me panicky, despairing and gives me a racing heart.

Have you noticed your GI system is more disturbed after eating certain things? Food has changed for me a lot. I developed a number of allergies in peri as well as a gluten and a mild fructose intolerance. But as long as I monitor how I feel after eating, I can eat more intuitively and manage myself better.

Feel free to PM me if you are scared. We are in this together!
