ive got nearly exactly the same symptons as you chest pains and breathlessness, lump in throat feeling, possible hernia, vitamin d defficency , along with the usual aches/pains headaches etc. its a relief to here someone has similar symptoms

Yeah thats what i got right now breathlessness chest back pains stomach pains leg and arm aches which arent so bad headaches suck but the breathlessness is what always gets my anxiety going.

yeah ive heard some viruses can cause inflamation of your ribs and chest that could be the reason for the pain and breathlessness. getting stressed about it will only add to the breathlessness as some symptoms like numbness and breathlessness get worse when i get anxious about what i could have.

    Hi Jorge,

I had the same feelings when I got sick in Oct 2016, I was certain it was something more, I had never felt so bad in my life, the weakness, nausea, depressed mood, body aches and internal shakiness will never be forgotten, I was sick for a long time but eventually got better, I had tests also and only EBV and mono.

Do not lose hope you will eventually recover, it is a long road, this forum was a god send and Craig especially was a great help to me.

We are very lucky to have Craig around. It is going to be a long road and like I said earlier, I will be sticking around this forum for a long time. How are you feeling now? Are you on am exercise regiment? If so, how do you feel while working out now compared to before mono?

Thanks so much for your kind words Mono too and Jayce, can't tell you what that means to me just now as have had a very tough few days with a horrible situation that has arisen with my ex-employer, it has worried me a great deal and need God and everyone's support very much right now.

Jayce apologies if I've not picked up or responded to some of your messages, usually I get notifications of new posts on the site but for some reason your name hasn't come up on any of my notifications even though I see you have been making quite a few posts. Just want you to know I'm grateful for your kind words and that I believe that you are going to get through this and get well again - hang in there. God is with us.

Thank you for being here for all of us here on this forum. Craig, I hope you resolve your issues with your ex-employer. If you ever need to reach out and talk about it I'm here for sure. If it is too personal and you'd just like prayers and reassurance,no worries. I can do that too.

      Hey Jayce,

I really appreciate your kind words and support, that is a great comfort to me at this time thank you. I would most definitely appreciate prayer at this time, it's the best gift I could have to know someone is praying for me. It's a long and weary story it's a bit upsetting to talk about at the moment but I will keep you posted and let you know how I'm doing, I'm trying to get some help and guidance with it at the moment.

I too will keep you in my prayers too Jayce and I am firmly believing that you are going to get better and through this tough time you have been going through - truly there is recovery and healing from this virus and you will get there, God is good and is going to get you through it Jayce, this virus is a terrible burden and strain but it will be lifted Jayce truly it will, and that's coming from me as someone who felt so ill and down and discouraged with it, it was down to God only that I was able to get better, and you will too - hang in there.

      Hi Gulja,

So sorry to hear that you have been experiencing such awful symptoms. Just want to encourage that if it is mono that you are going through or have been diagnosed with, that it will get better and the symptoms will fade and disappear completely with time. Just so frustrating that it can take a little while sometimes for things to start to feel much better- but please hang in there and truly let me reassure you that there is hope and full recovery and good health after mono - message any time it's a great forum here for advice / encouragement / support from kind and good people who really know what it's like to go through this awful virus.

      Craig
