Hahaha I don't think women do wee in a straight stream like men do.......this conversation is a bit too difficult to beat around the bush.....the shewee sits right against the opening where the wee leaves the body, tightly, you have to hold it firmly so there can be no escape route for leaks, therefore it doesn't matter whether you wee in a stream or not, you don't hold it underneath and try to catch the wee, you position it over the opening, relax and let the wee flow, it has nowhere else to go except through the cup and out of the other end and onto wherever you are pointing it πŸ˜‚

It's designed to be some a part of your body - like a penis is to a man, it's not a cup to wee into......😳😱

That should say 'become' a part of your body πŸ‘πŸΌ

Can't wait to try it πŸ˜‰ - vaguely more exciting than a raised toilet seat, anyway!

Lol I needed a giggle, this site is so good.

I have a shewee, had it for years, but never got round to using it as I just squat when I'm out walking. But the doc said I wouldn't be able to squat ever, so just started practising this morning, very pleased with it, but the test comes when I have my clothes on later.

I'm waiting for my date for my hip replacement.

As for using the loo, when I had my knee done I just kept that leg straight so hope that works when I need to sit on the loo after my op.

Hi ..Well!Β  I bought a She-wee and used in the night for the first 2 weeks after op.>FANTASTIC..I had to practice before the op.....Much better than struggling to the loo in the night.....

Go for it girls.....Mine is now tucked away for another such emergency!

Alice ( 13 weeks post op..can't believe it!)

I tried again before work and peed down my legs lol, think I need more practice. I have incontinence problems,so will be keeping mine handy downstairs with an old bucket, incase I can't make it upstairs to the bathroom. But must get in more practice.

No as that was the point in buying it ( at Boots).Β  I mean NOT having to struggle when newly at home after op and with crutches to bathroom.Β  It has a leak proof lid and just needs emptying in the morning.

I only used it for the first couple of weeks as seemed to need to go to the loo so much more than normal,

Lynne you need to put the 'mouth' of the she-wee flat against your body ( and lady bits) with no gaps then no leakage.

      Good Luck!

I did it twice this morning, never leaked but after the full flow, the rest that came out slower didn't come out of the spout straight,it was zig zagging and nearly got me how on earth can it do that, gravity should just let it run straight, didn't move it either lol.

Eeeeh the things us women have to do lol

Tried with my work clothes on yesterday but had to pull trousers down because the zip isn't low enough. Will have to try with jeans on.

Not having much luck, but hopefully plenty of time before my op, so will have to keep practising, darn site easier squatting lol
