Hi Abby, I had no trouble using my shewee, as long as you keep it firmly against your body you should have no problems.   I certainly never had to move it around and have used mine dozens of times with perfect results each time. I was quite surprised at how easy it was. Maybe Lyn wasn't holding it firmly enough.  Gillian

      Don't they always!

Us girls need to have a laugh and be open about such subjects don't we!

Always Ultra do incontinence pads that are as slim as normal panty liners but longer. Can't be seen even through knickers but certainly handles the spontaneous laugh, sneeze, cough girly misshap!

I'm glad you asked this Abby.  I have a shewee which I keep in the car.  I have only used it once and found it difficult to use although I did eventually manage - mind you I was absolutely desperate that day!!!.  I think a lot of my problem was lack of confidence and it doesn't help that I am rather large (an understatement) so my stomach gets in the way when I am trying to hold it in position.  Do any others find this problem?

I think I will bring mine into the house and have one or two practice goes before I have my op.

Hi Thursday - sounds from others' comments as if practising is a good idea! Defeats the object if you get soaked! If men had to wee like women, something foolproof would have been invented by now 😉 X

Had a she wee to use on a French holiday in case I ever had to use it in one of the awful old French loos with bricks. It was left in a rubbish bin in a lay-by near Carcassone  along with an item of clothing. Never bought another.

I'll take that as a 'no' then 😀. We used to camp a lot in France and many years ago I was about to use one of those hole in the ground loos, when a frog jumped out! Scream? Mais oui!' x

It took a while for me to get used to mine,I have one for camping, never even thought about using it post op!

Anyway, they say to practise in the shower, and you don't move it about, you just put it in place and hold it firmly against the body and then relax 😂 If you're not holding it firmly enough or you move it, then you may have an accident sad

cheesygrincheesygrineek  oh my dear Lord !!!!    laugh muscles are activated and hurting !!!!

I can not wee in one of those jars for urine sample without making a mess !

You all are troopers in my book ... do they come in different sizes or is it one size fits all ?

That's the problem renee! It is one size and the cup is too small. I don't wee in a straight stream like men. I kind of zigzag! I've had a look at the wiz reviews too. Seems to be exactly the same. I wonder if a man designed it.

I have to admit I had to force myself to practice..and re differant size tops  I am sure there aren't  no matter what our size the bit that pees is the same isn't it?  It is a question on pushing the cup part firmly against our 'bits'us....I did have accidents to start with ....it is easier than the sample jars given to us by doctors!!
