Side effects ?

Hey guys me again ... devastated as I write this I was told to start on valtrex today 2 a day for the next 10 days.... should I be concerned about any side effects ? These are some huge pills and I've never taken anything before except for pain killers ..

    Hey. So I don't have herpes. I took valtrex for bells palsy with some other medication. Well I get this burning sensation too. I thought maybe its a sign my period is coming as I'm coming on in a few days. It doesn't burn to pee and there isn't any sores. Its just burning sensations. It didn't start happening until I took valtrex

    I have taken acyclovir but not valtrex. I had serious side effects after 2 months on it. Fatigue, muscle spasm, depression, anxiety, insomnia, smelly urine. Then the doctor gave me antidepressants and antianxiety drugs sleeping pills . I stopped taking acyclovir. But my anxiety has not yet healed after so many months.

    So, unless you have visible sores, I dont recommend you take valtrex on a long term basis.
