    Hi Tom,

It will take 2-4 weeks for your medication to start levelling out. Imagine it being like a see-saw in your brain. Once it's balanced, the good days will start to outweigh the bad.

I wish there had been a forum like this when I was first suffering 15 years ago.

The best advice I can give you in the meantime is to exercise, a lot.

No doubt it's the last thing you feel like but you have to push yourself. It will help.

    All the best, C

Thanks trying to say so positive but it's so hard I'm just really hoping they start to kick in soon my appetite has come back a bit over the weeks but just won't to feel better and enjoy life again

      I understand,

Just keep that goal in mind and know it will eventually come.

I can't emphasise enough though how much exercise will help.

Also, don't stop doing the things you normally enjoy just because you aren't enjoying them at the moment. The enjoyment will return but you have to push through this tough time.

The tablets will help but there has to be hard work on your part too.

Let me know how you get on over next couple of weeks.

I know it's tempting to just want the tablets to do all the work but set yourself a little goal each day (going for a run or out for a coffee) and you will get a sense of achievement when you smash them!
