Skipped beats/Palpitations after ablation

Hi everyone
I had my ablation on the 20th April and had 2 weeks off work. For those first two weeks I had no skipped beats or anything. I went back to work last Monday and since then I have got them constantly even when I am relaxing and not exerting myself.
I rang my doctor and am now taking my beta blocker in the morning but it isn't improving. Did anyone else have these symptoms? I know it's only been just over 3 weeks but to go through all that and now still having issues is really depressing
Thanks

i am 8 months out from my ablation .
i have been remarkably free of any symptoms until two weeks ago i started experiencing some faint fluttering and odd beats for just a couple seconds and them back to normal.
does thus mean i am headed back to afib days ?
Has anyone ever experienced these sensations this long after ablation?
Rick

Oh, I am so relieved reading about all these skipped beats, ectopics. I had my SVT AVNRT slow pathway ablation on Sept. 24 and now I am getting these skipped beats but they are not taking off to full-blown SVTs. But it looks like they might which gives me beyond anxiety. I am reading similar things here. Good to know. EP said the procedure was very successful.

I just had an ablation for svt two days ago. it went for just one hour as the doctor could quickly locate the problem area and he gave me a 90 to 95% life long cure diagnosis. Yesterday I started to get my skipped heart beats and was shocked of course. no one told me that I could expect them. doc told me I can have a coffee again next day and there I was drinking a cup of coffee next morning and then getting the skipped beats. blamed it on the coffee of course because I didn't know better.
I find that as long as I'm moving I don't get these skipped beats, only when I sit down to relax. it's not doing it non stop but every time it does I get nervous. glad I found this page. if I just need to wait a few weeks or months for my heart to heal and then no longer experiencing skipped beats or svt then im fine with that. I've lived with svt since I was one and I'm over 40 now but it's those skipped heart beats that I actually hate more than the heart racing itself which used to be a completely normal part of all my life. fingers crossed! all the best to everyone of you!
