Hi!

Since a month ago i began to feel some slight, pulsing pain in different parts of head, but never in the same time in all places, Pain is very slight, but its so annoying and he is always there, it's a kind of some pressure, sometimes i feel pain in the left top of the head, sometimes in right, i feel pain in both sides of back of the head, but not at the same time. Sometimes one of my ear hurts, sometimes that's left, sometimes that's right. Am feeling some pain in my trigger points, in front of my ears. Pain usually last for only a 5 second and go away.

I don't have a vertigo, seizures, nausea, vomiting, dizzisness,

I never had this type of pain, and I had headache only when am sick.

My EKG is ok, I had do some scan of sinuses, ENT says that i have some acute sinusitis, but i dont have runny nose, temperature, pain in my throat, then ophthalmologist says that i see perfect and he didnt saw something unusual in my eyes.

I had done blood test, and my hgb is on lower limit, its 110 g/l and doc said that am little anemic. My heart puls is alwaus 85 beats per minute, even when I get up.

Is this type of pain similar for headache when people have brain cancer

Am hoping that someone here coud give me some answers

Thank you.

Could be tension head pain ,I get sinus head and facial pain ,try taking some water first ,it can be simple dehydration the cause ,drink enough water till wee becomes clear, then you had ample fluid intake ,if that fails try some Migraleve ,better than paracetamol if you suffer the bad head pains . So try to drink water first. A cranial osteopath told me people should drink water first ,as the brain tightens up if you don't get enough fluid surrounding brain ,hence headache .Pills like paracetamol increases headaches if you take them often enough ,sinus pain is the pits ,I wake up and start drinking water and sip it all through my day . Opticians etc would have picked up on anything un toward  going on. So by how your thinking to head ache and pain is stressing you further ,so rule that thought out . They would have found it that's what they do ,eye pressure etc plus they have a good look with that light they closely look into your eyes with ,tells them the health your in . Hope you relax soon .Do you give it concern more when your indoors, more than when outside and busy .? Pain in throat can be simple stress ,some get spasms in throat uncomfortable that can be ,stress related .If nothing helps ,go back and see dr if not okay in few days ,but give other things a try first ,can be a simple thing you do that puts it right ,sinuses play havoc to .

Try the nasal products ,can't hurt .antihistamines etc .

I am pretty sure you don't have pain because of brain cancer. I haven't been checked for my headaches but I am starting to think I should. I have headaches that sometimes last for two weeks at a time with a fever, sensitivity to light, this time though I had vomitting and no medication is working anymore. I am a teen so I don't know if taking any stronger medications is going to help, it may just make me feel worse. I have had them since I was nine

    Hi Sandra933

I have exactly the same type of pulsing headaches. I even feel some pressure behind my eyes. The only few events that I think might have caused this are:

1- Having been diagnosed with a lot disks irregularity in my spine

2- Terrible stress during the past period when I was writing my thesis and looking for job.

3- I used a lot of pestisides few months ago when I suspected bedbugs in my room. Now I regret it and feel afraid.

Please let me know if you got informed on what is behing this.

    All the best for you,

This same thing is happening to me and it is really freaking me out -- I thought along the same lines about cancer or a tumor or warning signs of an aneurysm or something awful because I always think the worst -- so I am very glad to see that I am not alone. I too am working on a thesis as someone else mentioned and am under a terrible amount of stress so I hope that is what is causing it. I plan to go to the doctor after I finish my thesis in the next couple of weeks if it doesn't resolve after my stress calms down. I see this post is a little old so I wonder if anyone found anything that helps...

Hi ... I have been experiencing the same ... nothing unbearable.. however it is annoying getting that feeling all over my head ... for me majority of the aches happen on my left side and left back side of my head ... sometimes it feel inside my skull and sometimes outside my skull.... I went to the doctor and he told me that it might be from prolong stress... after being in stress for so long our head muscles start to react once the actual stressor is out of the picture... he has proscribed me a muscle relaxant and some type of anti depressant drug (very small of both) ... I have not been consistent with the medication ... I still feel some of that weird random head ache ... I have read so many articles that related to head aches however the serious ones include severe headaches and stiff neck or vomiting... I have none ... I do suffer from anxiety but I have not been diagnosed of it ... idk what this strange feeling in my head is.

Hello there. Yes I am the one who mentioned working on the thesis and I would like to comfort you that the headache stopped after finishing my thesis and relaxing for a short period of time. One piece of advice: After finishing your thesis go and do something very relaxing for at least two weeks in order to heal completely. Because I did not have the money, I had to go to work immediately. Though the headache started fading, I still feel really bad till this day for not having the chance to just let my body and brain heal.

Wish you all the very best with your thesis and my heart is with you with regards to the headache

The left side and back of head on the left was where I had it mostly too! I also have anxiety and am already on medications for that so when I went to the doctor he said there wasn't much he could do for me. My stress is starting to go away now though so the headaches have stopped thank goodness. I hope yours go away as well! They are worrisome for sure but I was glad to see that they really probably were just from stress.

An update on this: I saw a neurologist and it ended up being occipital neuralgia. I now take gabapentin every day and it helps. It wasn't anything scary or life threatening after all but having the doctor confirm that helped my anxiety so much.
