Hello,

Sorry I need abit of advice as I'm due to have Rectocele and cystocele repair. I had my last consultation with my surgeon back in August 2015 had my pre op assessment in September. I was told I would be in for surgery around December and I'm still waiting, I spoke to someone at the gynea waiting list team today and they said I'm not even on the list yet as they are so far behind. I completely understand that they are busy and their are woman out there a lot worse then me it's just that walking and lifting is becoming a real pain and I'm sick of taking co dydramol which blocks me up when I already struggle to go to the toilet for a bm.

Sorry for ranting I just wondered if anybody had any advice as I'm starting feel like I'm moaning all the time to my husband.

Thankyou for reading xx

At the beginning, the date you saw your GP, consultant, pre op. Then say the pre op was wasting your time and NHS time because now it will be out of date!! Any phone calls you've made, lack of communication from the hospital. Why are you having to contact them when it's their responsibility if waiting lists are longer than 18 weeks. Tell them how waiting is impacting on your life and your family. Say you want timescales. How long are you going to have to wait? Does that help?
