Exhausted, shaky, dizzy, air hunger, headachey, woozy, aching... anyone else feel like the living dead from the time they get up? This ongoing insomnia... Have work to get done but feel so awful. Don't know that I'm even anxious anymore, just really sad.

Hope, what age did it start for you? Mine hit me like a train. I literally just felt like I was having a nervous breakdown or something out of NOWHERE!

hello c14889. Mine came on suddenly at the age of 42. I literally thought i was dying. I encountered every bloody symptom within less than a yr. I was a complete mess to say the least. It will be 5 yrs for me now and yes it does get better but not saying that i don't have bad days. Yesterday Christmas Eve was awful. The backache and hip joint pain is unbearable. also airhunger is getting on my nerves It is now 2 o'clock in the morning and i cannot sleep. This is all madness and i 've learned over the yrs to cope and just try my best to ride whatever wave it brings. Wishing you a Merry Christmas 🌲 and a happy new year 🎊

I remember feeling that way every day. I have been watching my sugar intake, but noticed that right before my period I get really sad and just feel weird. It was a really, really rough three years though from 39.5 to 43. No joke! How old are you and how long have you been going though it?

I'm 50; it's been at least 5 years. The palps, air hunger and reflux are particularly annoying, as is the "internal buzzing". Are you already menopausal? Are you feeling better now? X

It seems like I'm starting to feel better; I'm less in my head if that makes sense, and when I get down or anxious, I realize that it will pass. It's no joke though; dang! NOONE TOLD ME ABOUT THIS! Ha ha! (But not really) 😃

I thought I was ending my period and then it seems to have some back. Did yours do that? I'm not through it I guess.

There are definitely good stretches in between and I thank the Lord for those! I've only missed one period so far during all this peri fun and I was momentarily excited, but then they came back as usual, regular as clockwork, just very short now, with only one heavy flow day.
