Sore clitoris

I have asked about this before but I continue to have trouble. I hardly ever see posts from other ladies about it so I wonder, is this mostly unique to me?

Since I started steroid, I get an irritated clitoris. At the beginning of steroid application there it felt swollen and like I was somewhat stimulated for no reason. The Gyn told me to stop putting steroid on the clit. That stopped the weird stimulation but I continue to have periodic irritation there. I can b fine then we have sex (And not rough sex either) the next day I may or may not b sore there. Or out of the blue I will have a sore day. (Mostly when it's touched or I wipe over it). Then it disappears And on and on. Do I hit it with steroid accidentally? I have LS on the clitoral hood so I need to put some there. Maybe it just penetrates thru the hood to clit??? I can't find a definite answer to this. I do feel it reacts to the steroid. (I think!) I don't even know if I have LS on the clitoris or not!!

Any thoughts??

I'm presently quite discouraged about this LS. I know it's good to be at peace and not stress but I feel so sad about it all. Our sex life has changed... My diet has changed.... And I'm only 44. It's a lonely disease.

I just saw my gyno because I have sore irritated clitorus , and she said to put Diprosene on for one month , Not to happy as I have heard it thins the skin  I have not been sexually active so guessing it's just the LS flaring

Some of us ha ve trouble with our clitoris. For me, a combination of steroid and cold pressed extra virgin olive oil helps so much.

Many of us are unhappy about using the steroid at first, but it is a very small amount. I had thickened skin from my LS and the steroid helped bring that thickening down.

      Are you new to LS?

Had it about six years now , seem to get flare ups ,but was told that steroid thins the skin

Sex is very painful now but gyno did advise vegetable oil for sex

I sometimes have trouble in that area, it starts off feeling tender and then progresses to feeling a bit painful, kind of like when you touch a bruise.    I just use the Clob morning and night for around 5 days and that's it! it goes away, in fact, I can hardly remember the last time I had trouble, it was probably months ago.

I do think this is one area that you can't mess around with, you really have to use the Clob, and it works very effectively.

I use olive oil almost every time I urinate or shower. Since I do that I rarely have irritated clitoris or if I do, it's usually quite mild. I also switched from steroid cream to ointment so it could be contributing to the improvement also.
