Soreness sensitivity miserable

Eleven years into menopause or hell is probably a better word for it. No hrt as bad reaction so all natural coped with hot  flushes lack if sleep insomnia mood swings. Etc now out of the blue  sitting down is so uncomfortable like prickly hedgehog. Constantly sore swollen down below diagnosed atrophic vagina (what fun ladies it just got a whole lot better NOT) anyone else out there with these symptoms??

    Liz, as Jay says  - don't use ordinary soap on your delicate bits.  I use Cetaphil cleanser, a ph balanced wash.

      Thanks Sheryl will try cetaphil fir the delicate bits what a lovely way of putting it. Don't use perfumed soap anyway but what a pain love bubble baths and nice smells in them and now nothing. Only smells are tea tree and lavender. Oh well😔

      The lichen condition mentioned before by sheryl is called Lichen Sclerosus.  You should check the symptoms out just to make sure that you are not one of the sufferers for this condition.  It can be missed by GP's as some do not seem to be aware of it and others do not see it.  I was missed for a while as I was so sore and inflamed it covered the white areas that are a classic sign of it.  on saying this I hope you are not suffering this condition.  Good luck sorting your problems out.
