Spots and pimples

Ive got some that seem to stay forever, ive read that stress and anxiety can cause spots so could be that or these meds

i get big lumps that scar! hate this drug!

of course it can it affects hormones

I also wonder if it makes our skin more sensitive as i seem more alert to any soreness or itching etc and ive also noticed my glasses have started rubbing and making my skin sore behind one of my ears. My health anxiety makes me notice any little bit of discomfort etc

how are u doing and how far along are u now on Celexa ?

Are u feeling any better on it yet ?

Do u have side effects that are going or gone or got less ?

I'm starting today on week 8 and had the last 2 days being okay

don't get me wrong not me yet 😡 but there were better anxiety wise

but not so good today 😡 yes still have side effects but they are getting

better too morning's are still ruff how about yours ?

Please get with me if u can and want and have the time

I've reduced my citalopram dose from 10mg to 5mg over the last 10 months and am still getting withdrawal symptoms. When you say you discontinued citalopram, do you mean you just stopped and started venlafaxine with no weaning off? Just wondering if you are getting withdrawal effects still and if so what they are, apart from the spots.

im only 1 month into taking cit, been on 20mg since the start. You are right the spots and pimples seem to take forever to go away and ive also got a lot of dry skin

Yes, it drives me crazy at night time, can be anywhere, feet, legs, neck, back ugh. I also get fidgety legs, can't keep them still, only when I'm in bed though. Et tu?

I get quite a bit of itchy and sometimes burning skin mainly on my neck, lower arm, back, side of my thigh and on my chest

Sometimes I get an itch on my back and when I go and scratch it I can feel like a lightly scabbed area and it looks like a long cat scratch. These come and go. Don't know what that is?? i also feel burning, mostly in my legs, at night. I can't seem to regulate my temperature, one minute I'm hot and then cold. Weird!!

Yes it can drive you crazy worrying about everything. All I know is that I didn't get any of these symptoms before withdrawing.😂

Yeah i try not to itch it if i can as then it can make my skin sore, ive had an itchy head and scalp recently as well and occasionally on my hands. All these things certainly dont help my health anxiety lol, I used to just worry about my moles but not i keep looking at these spots and blemishes and worrying, i even worried about a tiny red dot yesterday lol

me either but ive talked myself into peri menopause now! having bloods in 2 weeks x

I get itchy head and scalp too.

I was getting what looked like tiny red blood spots on my arms, my doctor looked at them and just said nothing to worry about. They've gone now, so have my eye floaters .😀 I 'm into headaches big time at the moment, a lot of fun that is.😬

Yes mine are like little red blood spots, had them before on my arm and never gave them a second thought yet saw one on my stomach yesterday and worried due to my heath anxiety, it even has me worried about little dried out spots.

Im glad some of your symptoms have gone, hopefully your headaches will stop too, mine havent been too bad recently but still have a lot of discomfort in my neck and up to the back corners of my head

Yes, I had a them on stomach too but they've gone now. I think it's anxiety related.

Before does 3 days I had morning anxiety and side effects don't get me wrong , it's just more now the last 3 days 😢😢😢scared about this all

Hi im currently into my 5th week and am having up and down days at the moment. My morning anxiety is still there but better than it was but my anxiety overall is still there, im constantly worring about my moles and blemishes etc. Side effect wise i still have neck stiffness and pain along with some skin symptoms and random aches pains and twinges around my body

we still have a ways to go the both of us . I'm in the middle of week 8 and still

having side effects starting early in the mornings going till late afternoon then I get a bit better in the evening . How are ur days u get afternoon or evenings better ? The worries is a side effect from the meds I pray u get better with that and that the worries leave u . I been having bad 3 days and so scared I'm going backwards, the side effects are even more then they were in the first 6 week , Celexa is kicking my butt. What do u think is going on .
