Still bloated after gallbladder removal?

Hello guys it's me again. So I have been having a couple of issues after my gallbladder removal on August 5th. My stomach seems to feel very full now. This happened maybe 3-4 days after my surgery. I also started getting nauseous. But what bothers me the most is this bloated feeling. It's very uncomfortable and I can't eat much because I feel so stuffed and the nausea makes it worse. If I do try to eat my stomach literally feels like it's about to burst and it makes it hard to breathe. I've been walking here and there maybe 20 blocks each time as I was told walking will make the gas leave. But I feel so bad I'm not sure if anyone has experienced bloating this long? A friend of mine said her bloating and has left in a week. Is it possible to take ginger ale to help me burp, maybe gas x, anything? I just want to feel good again and I honestly feel sick. Don't think I'm constipated and I've been having bouts of diarreah and soft stool.

Hi guys! I had my GB removed 4 weeks ago. I felt great for about 1 week after, then I've had pre op symptoms ever since...feeling full after a small meal, feeling like something is in my throat, and burping like crazy. I'm seeing a naturopath now, she advised to cut protein and dairy until I see her for a follow up, I'm also on tinctures to reset my other organs as stress and not eating caused so much anxiety and fear.

I know for me I couldn't handle big meals the first week so I don't know how much you are eating. But I don't drink soda or any fatty foods or dairy. I stayed in the hospital for 4 days after my gall bladder removal so my recovery was very slow. Two things. You have to walk even if it hurts even if 1 minutes just move, rest and take deep breathes. I hope the hospital gave you a manual incentive spirometer because that helps you to get rid of the coughing feeling and strengthen lungs and prevent lung infections etc. I was only bloated 2-3 days max but I also don't drink dairy or coffee.
The nurse told me that all those bloated feelings would go away the more I walk so I did even though it hurt so much in my upper abs. Even if I took a lot of rest breaks and it tired me out it gets rid of that trapped air too. Once you start passing gas, burping it starts feeling better. Start with even just small stretches of upper body or stretch our legs in bed. Just stand and take small steps.
But I'm curious what you are eating cause your diet will affect this. Also feel free to call your surgeon to find out what is normal after surgery I made sure to call the office to get answers or push up your appointment time if it is too far out. But ya utilize your resources and you can even call the hospital and speak to your nurse if you still have questions 5 days out about feeling bloated so they can ask more questions though they might say when is your follow up visit with your primary doctor?
