Still have chronic ankle pain and getting worse. What should I do to help this mysterious injury

My ankle has only got worse since I last posted. I could use some more advice. I have hope each day it will get better but by now I don't think it will ever get better and I am about to start my first year of high school and I can't excersize to get my weight down. Someone I need advice.

I remember you. Sorry to hear of your continuing bad luck with finding out what is making your foot sore.
Please go to a counselor to help you cope. Its too hard on your own.
Ask for a dietician at the hospital to help with healthy food options and assist with ideas with weight loss.
Find something that makes you happy, eg. Music, reading, PS3 or PS4? Watch a funny movie.
Use the happy things to distract you from your foot. You need to try and create a time when it's not in your thoughts every second of your life.
Fresh air and sunshine are important.
Keep looking for an answer.
Try the following:-
*Try a Naturopath , one who has alternative remedies . Sometimes you can get a normal Dr who is also a Naturopath.
*Ask to see a Osteopath, who can look for other causes in bones, and muscles.
*Try a new physio and Dr. Keep going until you get answers.

By: George E. Quill, Jr., M.D. Louisville ) . You may need surgery to fix this . Is this your first ankle sprain or a recurring situation? A year and a half seems too long to have this pain.

It's a ligament issue( my guess) . Get a MRI scan and ask for the specialist who has knowledge of this fault . I've had a operation to repair the ATFL ( reconstructed ligament )
I sprained the faulty ankle which finally cracked whilst running
Check websites
for the medical procedure .
Good luck !

I have already had two MRI's and their is no ligament damage and never has been. I have one of the best Mri's the doctors have seen for some reason and the bones in my ankle are not exactly like they should be but that is not the sorce of my pain.
