Stomach problems, what is it?

Hi I've been having stomach problems for six months now and it's gradually getting worse:

pain under right rib cage

gas all day especially after meals (I take care to eat slow)

bloating gradually increases throughout day after food

always hungry and eat but don't gain weight

bad gas after eating sugar

twitching muscles and shivering

white coated tongue

pain in my kidneys?

ear buzzing and lumps around ear

Heart problems (skipping beat or too fast/slow)

large pupils (may be unrelated)

blurred vision (floaters)

bad smelling urine

the first symptom I noticed was about a year back when my stomach was tight after eating biscuits

(some of above may be unrelated but thought I'd state it all)

i've been on probiotics, peppermint tablets, actimel etc and eat healthily and exercise.

it did get worse after taking antibiotics a while back but ive been healthy and taken probiotics since and it doesnt help

ive been tested for celiac, blood tests and it all came back negative. My doctor hasnt given me a straight answer yet so i was wondering if anybody has had something similar.

GO BACK TO YOUR DOCTOR AND ASK TO SEE A SPECIALIST FOR MORE TESTS. THYROID? URINE TESTS, WHITE TONGUE TEST FOR THRUSH, GENTLY BRUSH YOUR TONGUE REGULARLY,

ALSO, YOU CAN DISCUSS THESE SYMPTOMS WITH A HERBALIST OR SIMILAR.

RE-FLOATERS I'VE HAD THEM FOR YEARS.....NOT A LOT WE CAN DO ABOUT THEM?

WATCH BARBARA O'NEILL ON YOUTUBE ABOUT GUT...........AMAZING...

Thanks for the advice, hopefully I can get tests; often it’s been brushed off as IBS and I’ve recieved all sorts of tablets such as peppermint which haven’t helped at all.

Keep going back to your doctor and ask for more tests.

    Hi el8286

You mention white tongue, bad gas worse after antibiotics you could have a yeast/candida problem in your gut. Ask doc to do a urine test to check for yeast/candida infection which can cause pain....best wishes...

    Hi el8286,

Have you been tested for H.pylori. Get tested for H.pylori, SIBO and Candida. Your problems seem like it could be any of these. In the mean while try low carb diet and eliminate sugars. I hope diet will help with your symptoms.

Hey guys, I have been told to cut back of fibre (though really doubt this will improve my symptoms however, I shall still try it) is there anything I can do other than diet to control bacteria (how to get rid of it on my tongue as I have tried with toothpaste) and control stomach bacteria other than reducing sugar, thank you.

I would test for organ function in particular liver and pancreas. it could be prediabetes also you could think about a tape worm as a possibility

Thank you Richard, I have been referred to a gastroenterologist so hopefully will get a better chance of diagnosis.

I have also sometimes noticed a slight sulfuric scent which comes and goes and was wondering if this has some relevance.

the gas after eating sugar is a carbohydrate breaking down into CO2 H and O2 it may be methane CH4 that is the gas sulphur SO2 is something produced in places like rotorua New Zealand in hot mud springs so I think that less likely. It has a smell of rotton eggs methane is more likely produced mostly from the lower intestine.

Also, I always need to “go” again around mid morning even though I’ve already been to the toilet in the morning and I don’t even eat that much. I think this could be what is causing gas but I am not sure?

Hi guys, back again I have been referred to a gastroenterologist but not given a date yet so am supposing it won’t be for a while, recently things are getting worse: my gas is extremely bad and constant throughout the day as soon as I eat anything my stomach feels somewhat sick inside. My vision is so poor that I can barely see: it is clouded with bright looking floaters/ lines, I am constantly craving some kind of carbohydrates or sugars and am overwhelmed by tiredness to the point where I am going to bed at 7pm from exhaustion. Furthermore, I am experiencing brain fog and have no idea what is going on and zone out so much which is all accompanied by horrific mood swings where I feel so angry for no apparent reason, as well as my ears feeling clogged up and I can’t hear. Also- most likely unrelated- my vein on my left hand has swollen up (looks almost lumpy) and is in a lot of pain and my hands are dry and wrinkly, I feel as though I look like I have gained some  weight. Has anybody experienced anything similiar.. any ideas?

      Hi el18286

Have you been keeping a food diary..it may be certain foods in general or foods containing wheat, lactose or gluten. Keep a food diary and see if there are any food triggers causing your gastro problems.....

Yes I’ve gone lactofree gluten free etc and nothing seems to change.
