Straightening

Helloo to all.. i am 11 weeks in after my knee operation and my knee still hurt and swelling. My leg is not straight. Anybody can advice on which exercise to do that will help.. i have access to gym but not to phicio terepy bcoz not available in my area or nearby..

    Lay on your back and roll up a small towel put it under your ankle . Lay like that for 15 minutes. I also agree with the one of pushing down knee when laying in bed. I did both and my leg was flat at  6 weeks. I am at 7 weeks and still have days of pain depending upon what I do. Best of luck to you.

    Hi, so many wonderful suggestions. Since you have access  to internet. Search TKR rehab exercises and  if you have a printer handy copy and should help as you can do the ones that will help you. For swelling  elevate and Ice as much as you can till swelling comes down.   Hope that some of these suggestions will help. For my leg I also sat in one chair and put it on another and pushed down. Hope you feel better soon.
