Strange lumps in back of throat - Health anxiety at an all time high!

Hi all!

thanks in advance for any replies!

so earlier today I noticed in the back of my throat that there were numerous big pink lumps, I have intense health anxiety so this has resulted in a day full of googling and panicking about cancer etc 😦

I was hoping someone here may have experienced these before and could reassure me and in turn calm my silly anxiety down.

    If you are not a medical professional, then STOP saying it is just cobblestone throat. The symptoms of cobblestone throat can and WILL line up with most of the symptoms of throat cancer. Especially in the early stages. So seriously shut the absolute f**k up before you get people killed.

    I am facing the same issue of bumps in my throat it all started with a lot of ulcers below my tongue and a single swollen tonsil and Now all the ulcers are gone I could see some white part below my tonsil which is not visible by naked eyes. With this issue I am also facing multiple styes in my both the eyes since last 4 5 months but they lasted for 7 to 10 days now I have a bump on my lower eye lid or a chalazion in other eye which is not going since 1 month . I am worried all of this are HPV related problems cause I was involved in oral and all kind of sex with multiple partners. Don't know how I can be sure and get tested for HPV as there is no test for HPV.

    I hope your feeling ok? I too have health anxiety.

    Stress can also cause our bodies to act in strange ways.

    Has the lumps gone?

    did anyone figure out what was happening to their throats? mine has been the same with swollen tonsils & sore throat for 6/7 months.

    hello all

    I have the same issue for almost 5 years.

    first it was just a bump now it is spread all around my throat. I took medicine but never helped. i have weak immune system. and I'm afraid of anybody see that.

    hi!

    i have the exact same thing going on in my throat. Had it checked by my dentist once he noticed it and said it is cobblestone throat from post nasal drip. My doctor also said the same thing. I was freaking out at first but I have had it for probably over 3 years and it consistently looks the same. I would get it checked by an actual doctor if you are still concerned though! its always a good idea
